Thanks for the comments, all. The wheels and engine are from Texas 3D, all very nicely made. I did notice a couple things after posting these pix, one was the wiper slid before the adhesive dried (Clear Acrylic) and the gas cap was facing the wrong way. Thankfully both were easy enough to correct.

Those setbacks happen to us all, you'll overcome it and still have a beautiful model. Slowing down and or taking a break is a good idea and when the time is right, you'll get it right!

I'll be 64 this year, feel great most of the time, just the usual aches and pains from life's casualties. Mentally I feel young, I am slowing some but still enjoy working, playing and the occasional party. Still riding and wrenching on motorcycles and building models of course. The hobby for me has change over the years, but it is still a great way to relax and escape even for just a moment! I also believe some take this hobby way to seriously! Trying to be all authentic and overly exact. That's ok for some but me, I just wanna have fun.

This is exactly what a model should look like, IMO. Cleanly built, great paint, well detailed and setting pretty. Well done...

Yes he did, I was an Administrator on his site and had mastered a few parts for him. I'm sorry to say I bailed when things went sideways over there, lots of drama towards the end.
