Thanks Mark and Kerry, I am at a point where my tastes are leaning toward the long version of the grill and shell. I have a few picks that show what I'm shooting for on this one. And I have a bit more done with the interior also!! David S.

Just had a few trades that were very rewarding!! 1st with Vince Nelson(vintagedragcrazy) and also a parts trade with mredjr (Elvin Gaither). Thanks to both you guys for being great traders and for keeping in touch through-out!! Build happy people and have fun, David S. (mod3llover)

That is way too freakin' cool Dennis!! I love your use of top loaders in your builds that I have noticed. Is that a little resin part that you cast? David S.

Nobody has a pic, or a link to a pic they can post? I would do it for you all gladly!! David S. -
That looks so nice! I would use just the top of the hood and do a two-tone paint adding that cocoa color. But I'm sure it will look great however you decide to do it!! David S.

Stan, I would put a coat of white primer like the Tamiya fine surface type. If not just for the fact that then whatever color you choose you will not need to worry about how the base color looks under your new color choice. David S.

Ludwig, That looks beautiful, I love the blue and stripe choice. She is going to be a winner for sure! David S.

Hello good people, I am in need of someone to post a pic of the chrome parts tree with the valve (rocker) covers on it. My efforts to find a photo on the web have not worked out too well. I have a older release of the kit, but it is missing those. If you can help please, David S.

Funny that you mentioned what you did a posting opener, because I plan a T build for my next endeavor in the realm of styrene engineering as it were!! I like what you have going so far, I will be watching this build for sure. You might say that a T build is on my BUCKET list very soon!! Keep er' rolling, David S.

Thanks Richard, I figured some folks like you might see some hope in this big lump of styrene, resin, and mud!! I guess I should not forget the glue? I might be slow, but I'm . . . . oh wait!! I guess I'm just slow!?! David S.

Here is a crude mock up with the '37 Ford hood and grill shell. (for anyone who is actually interested) I'm hoping I can make this mud and grind ordeal work out, and maybe look like a model I won't throw away after all the effort I put in to it! A lot of what I'm attempting is all kinda new to me. David S.

I love, love, love the look of that interior you have going on!! David S. -
This going to look so good!! The motor choice is really cool, and I love the mesh idea a lot. I have one of the new '30 coupes coming right now. But I have a '30 coupe going on right now!! Can I get away with doing two Coupes in a row? Hmmmmmm? Nice work, I love it lots!! David S. P.S.- Do you know why a chicken coop only has two doors on it? Because otherwise it would be a sedan!!

Yeah that green is real nice! David S.

Yeah Steve, that looks really cool!! That theme build type can look good, or not so much. But you made it all pull together in a real nice way for sure. It's going to look slick! (or sick, as they say now) David S.

Yeah, thanks a bunch!! David S.

That finish is just beautiful!! The shine really pops out at you. It's so bright I gotta wear shades. "Shine on you crazy Chevy" or something like that!?! David S.

Thanks Richard and Kerry, I thought at first it was going to be a weird place for louvers. But after I cut it down to fit, I really liked it! My next body related thingy I wanted to do was to used the hood, grill shell, and grill from the '37 Ford truck kit. Well obviously it's way too wide for the cowl area of the '30 coupe. -So I cut off the the fender swoops at bottom sides. -Took a pie shaped wedge out of the center of the hood to narrow it. I will still have to fill the V shaped opening where it meets the cowl. Then I'm going to angle the front of the hood to make the grill shell lay back at steep angle so it stretches the look out quite a bit. Here's what I got so far-
