Border Patrol Ramcharger
Goose1957 replied to Mahogany Rush's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That came out very nice. My cousin is retired from the Florida game commission and he used Ramchargers for many years. He always had some great stories about them. Tough trucks they were. Thanks for sharing yours. Jeff -
'51 Jeep
Goose1957 replied to Mahogany Rush's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Great looking Jeep. What wheels and tires are those? They fit well and look good. The v-6 can be found in the Jeep Commando kit. PM me if you want to add one. That's a really nice tribute to your father. Jeff -
R.I.P. Jerry. A great comedian and actor. Gave us all a new holiday, a new support garment for portly, elderly men, and many other laughs along the way. He will be missed. I wonder if he said to his physician, "Million to one shot, doc, million to one!" Jeff

Great looking truck Cruz. Stance looks just right. The tool box looks great too. Jeff -
Can't wait for the Supernatural Impala, course all my LGS's are still closed. I would rather buy local, then order online, but this might change it if the govt. doesn't open up the state soon. I'm a super fan of Supernatural and have been waaaaaiiiiiiittttiiinnnggg for a 4 door 67 Impala to be made. I might also pick up the Ranchero for the Coke bonus parts. Some cool kits this month. Jeff

Time for LUVin'! Retro Street Truck (OOB)
Goose1957 replied to Faust's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yeah, I knew the differences in scale, I wasn't sure how big the engine bay is in the Luv. I know it would look smaller, maybe add a turbo setup to fill some of the empty space, lol. I just thought it would be an alternative for someone building one. I may have to get one and put one of my resin Cummins engines in my stash in it just to roll some coal, lol. Maybe cut it down to a BT-4 4 cylinder. Jeff -
Time for LUVin'! Retro Street Truck (OOB)
Goose1957 replied to Faust's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Would the v-6 from the Jeep Commando work? It is, after all, a Buick engine before they sold it, then bought it back again. I think that would look good in the Chevy Luv. Jeff -

Cool IH Scout engine. I can dig it. Love all your engines and the workshop diorama. Keep cranking them out. Jeff -
Here's my rendition of the AMT Toyota truck snap kit recently re-released. This was meant to be a slump buster project for me. I needed something simpler to do after getting stalled on other projects. As a snap kit, it is lacking in some detail, but is still a very nice kit to build. A few runs in the paint and the decals didn't want to settle down, even with setting solution. I just wanted an example of a popular truck from my youth. Thanks for looking. Jeff
