  1. There's something disturbing about the subject matter, but I like it, in a macabre sort of way I guess. Nice modeling . The figures look really good. Jeff
  2. Yeah, I knew the differences in scale, I wasn't sure how big the engine bay is in the Luv. I know it would look smaller, maybe add a turbo setup to fill some of the empty space, lol. I just thought it would be an alternative for someone building one. I may have to get one and put one of my resin Cummins engines in my stash in it just to roll some coal, lol. Maybe cut it down to a BT-4 4 cylinder. Jeff
  3. Welcome to the forum. Beautiful Land Rover. As others have said, really nice weathering. I love the look of the spare on the roof. It just looks like its been up there for awhile . Great looking engine detail too. Hope to see more of your work here in the future. Jeff
  4. Would the v-6 from the Jeep Commando work? It is, after all, a Buick engine before they sold it, then bought it back again. I think that would look good in the Chevy Luv. Jeff
  5. Great looking work truck. The scratchbuilt items are terrific. Very nice job. Jeff
  6. That came out very nice. Love the wheels and tires. Great job. Jeff
  7. Neat project. Can't wait to see this one done. Jeff
  8. Sweet! I've been waiting for Dean's baby to get here. Gonna buy a couple when they arrive. Jeff
  9. Great looking truck. The weathering and rust are spot on. Love all the tools and added details. It really brings the model to life. Jeff
  10. For fighting you all the way, I'd say you came out on top, lol. Great looking El Camino, the paint looks terrific. Nice job. Jeff
  11. Cool IH Scout engine. I can dig it. Love all your engines and the workshop diorama. Keep cranking them out. Jeff
  12. Nice looking Raptor. I bought several of those kits to rob the wheels and tires off of. Now I think I have to build one of them. Yours looks great, the blue is perfect for it. Nice job on all of the details and extra painting. The bed liner looks terrific. Jeff
  13. Here's my rendition of the AMT Toyota truck snap kit recently re-released. This was meant to be a slump buster project for me. I needed something simpler to do after getting stalled on other projects. As a snap kit, it is lacking in some detail, but is still a very nice kit to build. A few runs in the paint and the decals didn't want to settle down, even with setting solution. I just wanted an example of a popular truck from my youth. Thanks for looking. Jeff
  14. Looks like a good start. Can't wait to see this one done. Jeff
  15. Excellent, excellent work! The rust looks SO real! I can look at these pics for hours and not see everything. Beautiful job. Jeff
  16. Great looking truck. It's so neat to see the odd pickups and other cars that are obscure to most people, including myself. I had read about Mercury pickups, but had seen few photos before. I'm glad you decided to model one and share it with us. Great looking model. Jeff
  17. Great looking Scout. I really like the color choice . Looks like it just drove off the showroom floor. Keep the Scouts coming. Jeff
  18. Great looking Bronco. It's nice to see all of the aftermarket parts available for this kit. I really need to start one someday soon. Yours looks great, nice balance of parts. Not overly done. Good job. Jeff
  19. Looks really good to me. Nice Jeep. Now, I just need to get this version also. Dang, gonna be an expensive summer, lol. Jeff
  20. That turned out really nice. I just finished one I'll soon post pics of. I like the front end treatment for a nice stock look. The colors look spot on also. Nice job. Jeff
  21. Excellent looking truck. The mesh tailgate looks terrific. Great weathering again. Really nice. Jeff
  22. Wow, great rendition of the original truck. And to get it autographed also. Too cool. Great job on that build. Jeff
  23. Good looking dump truck. Looks like a factory job. I wish someone would make a kit like this in styrene, all in one box. There are so many trucks like this in the real world, I can't see why one of the bigger names couldn't do it. Add a trailer full of mowers and weed wackers and you would sell a million(OK, maybe not quite a million, but close, lol). I'd like to build one, just don't have the time to do all of the alterations and scratch building you did. Great job. Jeff
  24. I loved that show too. Just watched 2 episodes today on retro tv channels. Can't wait to see how yours turns out. Jeff
  25. Great looking Scout. I like the sbc swap. Nice choice of red too. Funny, I thought about putting a cowl hood on my Scout when I was driving it around in high school. Just didn't have the money then. Great to see more Scout models, keep 'em coming. Jeff
