  1. I'm with the rest. The retro style looks really great. steve
  2. That's come up nicely Matt. Better than the one I built in about 1969! Let's hope they will reissue some of the other oldies like the Maxi or the MG1100. steve
  3. That’s a posh area you live in Pat. ? I find a Beetle and you get a Bentley, steve
  4. Found this in my village this morning whilst out walking. Is there any colour that Beetles don’t look good in? steve
  5. Ah. Sorry, I missed the original image. steve
  6. I reckon it's a gorgeous little car! steve
  7. Toffy is enthusiastically embracing the energy saving (lack of) movement... steve
  8. Watched Life Of Brian again the other day for the first time in ages. Still brilliant and hilarious! steve
  9. Caroline - Status Quo Killing In The Name Of - RATM Du Hast - Rammstein Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf Breaking The Law - Judas Priest The Rocker - Thin Lizzy The Trooper - Iron Maiden Radar Love - Golden Earring (This song holds a particularly sweet memory for me of driving to meet my now wife...) steve
  10. My son has a BMW drift car that he built out of a 3 Series body and various parts. If I was nominating a favourite model, it would be the 2000CS Coupe from 1965-1969. steve
  11. Not quite on the road but…it could. steve
  12. It’s this one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07HN22FR3/ref=pe_27063361_487055811_TE_3p_dp_1 steve
  13. A new LED magnifier desk light to replace a dead fluorescent version. steve
  14. Nicely done. Somewhere I have a Yellow Cab version of that Plymouth. I was always baffled as to why it had white tyres... steve
  15. Some fascinating images there. A few look to be from the UK. Thanks for posting and keep ‘em coming! steve
  16. Anyone seen this before? Very ingenious! steve
  17. Found this in a box in the garage. I can recognise some parts, like the grille/front axle from the Monogram Dragstrip Hot Rod '32 (my favourite kit) and the wheels & tyres that came off a Can Am racer. Can't place the rest though. I cobbled it together in the late 1960s and think I will just restore it essentially as it stands. Shouldn't take long!* steve * Famous last words...
  18. Thanks John. We think she is between 11 and 12. We got her from a cat rescue 8.5 years ago. Her name is Toffy. steve
  19. Excellent work! Do I recognise the "Wheeler Dealers" Anglia? steve
  20. On another part of this forum I saw a member mention a ‘Cat Dozer’. Then I thought, “We have one of those”. ? steve
  21. Thanks to our wonderful National Health Service, the world is a lot brighter and clearer today. Laser eye surgery cleared a film in my left eye that was a legacy of a cataract operation in the past. This will make modelling easier! ? steve
  22. I remember seeing loads of those Wartburgs on visits to Germany in 1980s and 1990s; usually in bright colours like orange and lime green. Looking at prices they go for, they ain’t a cheap car now! steve
  23. Absolutely top notch ‘32! steve
  24. This appeared opposite our house this morning. Sadly I was out but Jean said it sounded like a jumbo jet when it left. steve
