Mode Car World (MCW) makes a '60 Catalina/Ventura HT. Get Mode Care Garage's '60 Bonneville Detail Set MCG-2271 for the Trumpeter '60 Bonneville kit. It contains appropriate PE scripts for Bonneville/Star Chief/Catalina/Ventura.

Thanks very much, Tom. I appreciate the offer. I was planning on using one of the two '41 Plymouth kits as a donor for the NYPD '50 Plymouth Business Coupe I'm making out of the R&R Resin '50 Plymouth Sedan. I won't be needing those parts to do this. I should have spare skinny Firestones laying around for a complete set. I guess you can figure out which one of the kits drew the short straw.

Check out my post in General's "What did you get today?". You'll love the pictures.

GEEZ! Reread the list carefully. I did indicate that. You mentioned every car which didn't use these handles; and, BTW, their MY aren't even included for that reason. That, in itself, should tip you off to that fact that the info doesn't apply to them. Do I have to be so painfully specific because you're not paying attention and actually reading the info?

Like Casey mentioned, Owencraft doesn't seem to be in business any longer. You can still check which type of door handle is suitable: https://web.archive.org/web/20161028055814/http://owencraft.com/handle.html But, I'll save you the trouble. This be it: It was used on the following GM vehicles: Chevrolet full size 1955-1970Chevelle 1964-1972Corvette 1956-1967Camaro 1967-1970Chevy II/Nova 1962-1979Corvair 1960-1969Pontiac full size 1955-1970Grand Prix 1962-1968Tempest/LeMans 1961-1972GTO 1964-1972 Firebird 1967-1970Buick full size 1954-1960Buick full size 1963-1976Riviera 1963-1976Special/Skylark 1961-1972Cadillac 1955-1960Cadillac 1964-1980Oldsmobile 1954-1976Cutlass 1961-1972Toronado 1967-1970 Look at the model years carefully. All GM cars from 1955-1976 (except '67-'91 Caddy Eldorados) used this type. Any Revellogram GM kit in that MY range with separate door handles can be a potential donor. That's as good as it gets .

What Kits Were Molded in Green?
SfanGoch replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey, I haven't seen this kit for over 25 years. It was, and still is an RS. Says so in the description: DescriptionThe '69 was one of the best selling of all the Camaro® models over the years. The special Z/28™ package added a unique 302 cubic inch V-8 and other high performance parts to create a blend of good handling as well as powerful acceleration. This Revell kit includes the Rally Sport™ front end trim and the rare dual quad and chambered exhaust options. Features: Opening cowl induction hood, spoilers front and rear, waterslide decals. Requires paint and glue (not included). -

Hmmm......while searching for a pic, I ran across this: https://www.revell.com/index.php Revell USA is back, with no redirect to RoG. No updates; but, it is back. -

Nah, it was the Revell Z/28 with the RS front trim. Whoa, while looking for box pic to post, I ran across this: https://www.revell.com/model-kits/cars/index.html The Revell USA site is up and running again! No Revell.de redirect either. -
What Kits Were Molded in Green?

Wasn't this kit released around 2000 and the Metalworks version sometime around 2011? The original issue BM Camaro and the AAR Cuda are both 1991ish vintage. I also had a '69 Camaro RS/SS kit from around the same period which was molded in orange styrene. I bought all of these kits at The Hobby Shop in Richmond Hills, Queens within a few months of each other. I also had a Revell '67 Chevelle (not the "Pro-Street" version which was the same green as the BM Camaro and AAR Cuda)) which was molded in a dark metallic blue styrene. I wish I still had them..... -
What Kits Were Molded in Green?

Sad to say, no. The idiot who lived upstairs from me decided he was going to fix the plumbing in his kitchen by himself. The unchecked water, and the collapsed ceilings in my apartment, ended up destroying just about everything model-wise. -
The extremely limited trunk space in new cars has put a crimp in wiseguys' ability to dispose of unproductive associates. Why, in the good old days, you could stuff 3 DGIS (Dead Guys In Suits) into the trunk of a Chevy Impala, Pontiac Bonneville or any Caddy with enough room left over for a full sized spare, picks and shovels and ten bags of groceries.

What Kits Were Molded in Green?

It was 85-7426. I bought it in '91 or'92. I thought it was an odd color. I bought another BM Camaro (same stock number) a couple years later and it was molded in red. The roof was gekakt; so, I called up Revellogram for a replacement. Guess what RM sent me..........a green body to go with all of the red parts and a free set of Yenko Camaro decals. Go figure. -
That's why I use Magic-Sculpt. It's impervious to all stripping chemicals/solvents and, being a two-part epoxy, doesn't shrink or crack. Reshaped RoG Ferrari 250 GTO rear end using this stuff.

I had a Revell Baldwin Motion '69 Camaro molded in the same bright green as its '70 AAR Cuda kit. -
2019 GMC Sierra ( UGLY Truck)
SfanGoch replied to ranma's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'd never have to worry about getting in or out of tight parking spots. Piece of cake moving the cars in front and in back. You also don't have to worry about chipping the factory paint. -

There was an interior designer, who went by the moniker "Dan Normal", in NYC back in the early '80s to mid '90s. He was red bearded, wore his hair in a proto-manbun and walked around wearing only a leopard skin garment a la Fred Flintstone, even during winter. He drove around in a modified '66 Caddy ambulance with a bunch of odd statuary mounted on the roof and had a huge Pickaninny doll sitting in the passenger seat. He lived in the West Village and one could normally see the Caddy parked near Seventh Ave. South. It was hilarious to see the expression on the faces of some of the old money residents at Trump Tower when they eyeballed him sitting in the lobby, waiting to go upstairs to visit a client.

Monogram also reissued Aurora's Maserati 3500 GT (Kit No. 2245) and Aston Martin DB-4 (Kit No. 2246) both of which are excellent models.
