  1. Gator.
  2. The AMT Kat made his first appearance in an AMT ad in DC Comics' Green Lantern #39, September 1965. His last appearance was in December 1966 in The Flash #66. AMT also stopped advertising in DC comics at that time. The small Kat figures were included in the Trophy Series kits from '65 through '66.
  3. Aside from a 1" plastic figure and keychain available in the mid '60s, this resin bobblehead is the first and only figure ever released. Hmmm..... "AMT Kat vs. Rat Fink" could be made into a movie.
  4. Being a long suffering Mets fan, I couldn't agree more.
  5. It's the only true chrome paint available. I've used Alclad, Model Master Metalizers, etc. and hands down, IMO, it's the best product for cheating a realistic chrome finish.
  6. I know. It also works on gray and white gloss bases. Additionally, I've experimented applying it over various gloss bases for different effects.
  7. The reality is that there haven't been two separate leagues since the positions of AL and NL presidents were abolished and interleague play started in 1997. Interleague play did away with that illusion.
  8. From 1901 through 1960, there were eight teams in each league. League rivals played each other 22 times. The length of the season was 154 games until 1961, when the AL season was expanded to 162 games. Additionally, the AL expanded to 10 teams. The NL still played a 154 game season in 1961, expanding to 10 teams and playing 162 games in the 1962 season. Fun fact: The first known photograph of someone giving the middle finger was of pitcher Charles "Old Hoss" Radbourn of the Boston Beaneaters. "Old Hoss" was captured flipping the bird in a team photo taken on April 29, 1886. Hoss is in the back row, far left. While pitching for the Providence Grays in 1884, Old Hoss started 73 starts, had 73 complete games, pitched 678.2 innings, had 441 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.38. Oh, he also went 60-12, most wins ever in a single season. 1884. incidentally, was the first season pitchers (NL only. Other leagues kept the ban on overhand pitches.) threw overhand. Today's sissyman pitchers think it's a major accomplishment to last six innings.
  9. Alsa Corp's Easy Chrome is expensive; however, it is the most durable chrome finish available. It's used to fix automotive chrome, including rims. Easy Chrome is applied over a clear base coat. It doesn't rub off or dull from handling, fingerprints can be wiped off without damaging the finish and it doesn't require a top coat when used on model parts.
  10. From 1969 to 1992, National League teams would play their division rivals 18 times and out of division teams 12 times. The AL followed the same format from '69-'76.
  11. That's what sunroofs are for.
  12. Works for me. http://www.scalemotorcars.com/forum/
  13. Richard, glasspacks, straight-throughs and straight pipe mufflers have been illegal in NYC for quite some time. They've been popular in the city since the mid-late '80s when guys started tuning their rice burners. It's really bad on Roosevelt Avenue through Jackson Heights and Corona in Queens because its entire length is covered by the IRT elevated tracks. It causes the angry lawnmower sound to reverberate off the buildings on either side of the street.
  14. One doesn't need a truck if one lives in a fairly large city. You aren't going to haul hay or large amounts of lumber. People were brainwashed by auto makers into believing that they need large SUVs and trucks in congested urban areas rather than cars. Auto makers push trucks and SUVs because of the higher profit margin on each compared to cars. People in large cities, like New York, don't buy trucks and SUVs out of necessity, they buy them because it's hip and cool. It's the LOOKATME!!!! factor.
  15. 1979.
  16. They sure are. They're gonna make sure that everybody who can't possibly afford a $60K EV buy one.
  17. You can apply them directly on primed surfaces.
  18. Without quoting six pages' worth of comments on the swellness of automotive gadgetry, this says it all:
  19. This effectively wiped out the 2010-2020 used car market.
  20. It'd be a real shame if the heated seats in some people's late model cars stop working.
  21. Okey Spaulding sold the '59 Rambler wagon in the early 2000s, not Round2. Moebius supposedly was going to re-release the wagon and taxi; but, nothing came of it.
  22. Like I said, cheaper. Have you checked out its barebones model (all types and scales) kit listings?
  23. If it's just like a Molotow, it's an ink, not paint and it isn't resistant to handling.
