  1. How old is the gas range? Google the board with the part number then search for an installation guide.
  2. Unfortunately, driving a school bus isn't a high income job in most locales. School bus drivers in the NYC metro area earn an average of $43,652/yr. The cost of living in Hamptonville, NC is -41.8% lower than in Rockaway Park, NY. Anyone moving to your area to drive a school bus would have to earn a salary of $25,409 to maintain his/her current standard of living in NYC. Employers in Hamptonville, NC typically pay -20.9% less than employers in my location, Rockaway Park, NY. The same type of job in the same type of company in Hamptonville, NC will hypothetically pay $34,512.
  3. You couldn't do that in the Astoria section of Queens if you wanted to name a kid Nick. Nearly everyone on the block would turn around. 85% of males and 70% of women are named some derivative of that name.
  4. I gather that attaching oversized clown car rims on speed shapes wasn't your cup of tea?
  5. Ask Ralph. He reads the paper and comic books to stay up on current affairs and the latest developments. That's not a joke, it's the truth.
  6. Annette Figueroa would be the perfect Z-list "expert"/"scientist"/"doctor"/"researcher". She was passed off as a "doctor" in the original Plexaderm commercials. What's the deal with her telescopic neck? Did she forget to wear her neck rings that day?
  7. 16" inches distance is my minimum for a laptop with a 17.3" screen. Anything with a smaller screen is a waste of a computer.
  8. Not much, just advertise it and they'll crawl out of the woodwork like roaches in a tenement apartment.
  9. Bungee jumping was introduced in 1979. Elastic shock/bungee cords (same thing) were developed in the 1940s. Elastic shock cords were used by the U.S. military since at least 1950. Notice the first year indicated in Table 30, Elastic Shock Cord Age Markings, which is found in TM 55-405-7, Army Aviation Maintenance Engineering Manual Shop Practices, August 1966.
  10. That's different.
  11. You just had to, didn't you?
  12. Not sticking M-80s in exhaust pipes was a strict rule. Some people just don't have a sense of humor. Also, not laughing at mom when she stood on a chair (she was 4'10" tall ) to smack the cra_p out of us. It was almost impossible to hide a smirk. It didn't hurt; but, it was like Granny Clampett smacking Jethro around. Giggling would only piss her off even more.
  13. Right. As if the average slug reading and responding to these ads would even know about that. Most people have to get on their iC_rap phone to call for road service to do something simple like changing a flat.
  14. The ones who do are the same rocket scientists who always fall for the old "Say, can you give me two tens for a five?" routine.
  15. P.T. Barnum was right.
  16. Are you aware of the stress that will be placed on the anchor points if you use elastic string? Those anchor points will have to be relatively small. Then, as was previously pointed out, you'll need to secure the rear edge of the hood to prevent it popping up. Use appropriately sized and painted detailing/ignition wire.
  17. Sorry, I only had fourteen mugs of coffee when I wrote that. I'm ten behind schedule.
  18. Actually, military AFV modelers, me included, prefer resin or 3D printed wheels and tires for the same reasons that car modelers complain about. That's why there are so many aftermarket companies producing them.
  19. Elon Musk's inspiration. He was Fred.
  20. Norman Bates was ahead of the times.
  21. It's a bungee/shock cord.
  22. It comes equipped with a driver side periscope mounted in the roof.
  23. I was stuck on the phone with a Microsoft customer service rep named "Mary Murphy". Yeah. Right. I asked "Mary" if she liked corned beef and cabbage. CLICK! m
