Hello, Avoid any outfit in Russia due to imposed sanctions, or at least that's what Fugus Garage told me as an excuse for not having my product ordered on March 23 which was in stock. Also Mid America Raceway sent me an incorrect item which I contacted them twice on w/o resolution but I finally got one. There excuse was being at the Winter Nationals. Lotta Joksters out there.

Paint Strippers - What to Use?
aurfalien replied to pbj59's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Hi, My building endeavors are mediocre at best and I end up stripping the body and chassis about half a dozen times or so. Hence I consider myself a stripping king. And what I use are both SuperClean and 99% alcohol. Of course I do end up marring the plastic a bit after half a dozen strips or so, the paint and primer are gone. Incidentally and to veer a bit off topic, the most friendly primer I have used which fills in the damaged plastic is Alclad micro filler/primer. It has a most wonderful sheen to it and repairs my scarring. -

Thank you sir. Much appreciated. -
Hi, He's undergoing surgery and so I don't wish to bother him with questions. I'm curious about his water slide decals, are they pre-cut? His peel and stick aresn't as he mentions needing to cut them to shape. Man, he has a VAST array of amazing decals, what a treasure!

Hi, Yes that would be very cool. Scale Coach Works had one in Apple livery back in the day. However Renaissance has one now in non Apple livery; http://www.renaissance-models.com/ter/index.php/autos-toutes-echelles/echelle-1-24/kits/produits/1071-porsche-935-k3-1er-le-mans-1979

White decals going yellow fix??
aurfalien replied to TeamBear's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Hi, I forgot to mention that to curve the decal sheet a bit so that only the edges touch the glass. This avoids any transfer of window fromage to the decal sheet. -

Fellow comrades, I just finished reading MCM 205 and found it really nice. I particularly liked the GSL article and find Greggs writing personable and to the point. His kit reviews are very welcome and helpful. And of course the magazine ads make me go "Oh wow, a cool vendor, what cool stuff". The Fisher article was also my favorite as well. I just love that guy.

White decals going yellow fix??

Hi, I had taped mine to the inside of a south facing window for a few days. Worked like a charm. Note that the decals face outward so you'll be taping the back of the decal.
