  1. Cool info, thanks Richard!
  2. Totally bitchen, thanks Steve! Yep, I'm eyeing this stuff from VHT.
  3. Forgot to answer your question. At first I studied reverse molding and came to the conclsuion of f%^*$ it! I then bought another kit, made a mold and sold it (traded rather). I used PinkySil as it was cheaper then the Alumilite stuff but it's a soft mold. I prefer the hard kind as is supplied by Alumilite. I look forward to a totally fun build.
  4. Oh yeaaaaa. I've been waiting for this sort of build. Totally righteous!
  5. Thanks dude! Well, I put a lot of time in the other parts of this this thing and it pained me to have it wasted. Plus this modeling thing is a real PITA for me. Its "just" fun enough to keep me going. But others build posts keep me motivated. Thanks again dude.
  6. So I finally got it primered. Still unsure if I'm going to do a final white or yellow primer before the final yellow paint though. The picture is of the completely replaced front right quarter as it originally melted. Plus I sat on the poor thing and had to use a filler/primer. I just can't give up on this little car. So much for being an easy 3rd build. I did what AFX said and went with an easier kit, one thats curb side. Oh well. Now I know I can do resin casting and panel replacements which is cool. Although I don't plan on doing it any time soon
  7. Hi all, Would you recomend a yellow primer for any final color? Since I'm going to have a few yellow projects, I was thinking to get a yellow primer as yellow final coat is a PITA! I understand that a white primer would help but a yellow primer would in fact be better. Anyways I would prefer any money spent to be long lasting so if a yellow primer could be used for any final color, than its a home run. Thanks in advance. PS If you have painting yellow tips, I'd love to hear em as well.
  8. Wow, so a Bionic Man of sorts, expect for a car. Wow, thats craft, OMG!

  11. Wow and I mean wow! This is another one of those insane builds!
  12. I don't often respond to the intros as I'm bizzy struggling through my builds (boy its been tough). But allo and welome. Your level of politeness is striking, first class. I also speak German often at work, here are some of my rhymes; Das gooten ouzen eben ozen.. * The last 2 words are actually an 80s band whose EP I have some were. I serioulsy do say this at work often. At any rate welcome.
  13. I was curious myself.
  14. Wow, all your builds are inspiring.
  15. Thats just remarkable!
  16. Wow! OMG, amazing!
  17. Thats simply superlative!
  18. Well, I'm looking forward to that McLaren M6GT you've (hopefully) been working on
  19. My sincerest condolences. At least he had you Tom to let the board know. Imagine the poor soles who used to actively grace this board and all the sudden go silent w/o further word. You're both lucky to have been friends, its a precious commodity.
  20. What a work of art. Sometimes I think Norm doesn't make an eCommerce site to sell his goods because he'd never get any sleep. Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland is amazing.
  21. Total bummer. I checked there site and it says closed 5/1-10/1. Hopefully he is catching up on things and will get back to you. I'd be pretty darn angry.
  22. VERY creative and brilliant. Honda is cool.
  23. Dayam, snap! Thats killer!
  24. I think whom every created this will be a rich man(s) once Apple or Google buys it. Its funny, one of the YouTube comments was something like; then who needs us? Well, you need some one to ask the questions don't ya
