  1. Superglue just sits on the surface, doesn't burn into the plastic like solvent based glues do. You should easily be able to wet sand with fine grit and polish it out like new with some some polishing compound. A polishing kit will make short work if it if you have one. I've done this on more occasions then I'd care to admit. I've even polishing the glue off while the glass in still in the body. 😉
  2. I wet sanded the clear getting ready for a second coat. Was making a mold of the bumpers earlier so I could cast a few sets for myself and I must have contaminated my hands with mold release and didn't get it all of and transferred it to the sand paper. That's my best guess anyway, that's what it looked like when I sprayed the second coat of clear.
  3. For a place that's not supposed to get "political", it sure is getting political looking.😒☠️
  4. Yes, this is a zip-loc bag with the truck covered in Easy-Off.
  5. Not all. The more performance oriented ones did have 15" wheels. The '85 442s ,Buick Regal T-Type/Grand National and Monte Carlo SS standard tire was 215/65 15 same as my Trans Am.
  6. Probably could save it but do you really want to put that much effort into something as common as dirt? I'd just get a fresh kit.
  7. Wish I had known you were going Chris, I would have given you a shopping list. 😉😁
  8. Better to stop on a green then run a red. 😉
  9. Thanks Steve, I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble doing that trim, I've seen your work.
  10. OK, a few pics with the final color. I'll clear it tomorrow. , , and, as you can see, I'm going with a '73/'74 GMC grille.
  11. Mike, again, If that was mailed from Canada I urge you to report it to the Canadian government link above. Doesn't matter if you're in the U.S., they'll definitely want to know about it. I suspect the local police and whoever else will take one look at it, have a laugh and chuck it in the garbage.
  12. Build it. It's pretty common. Might end up being worth a couple bucks more then a correct one but ,IIRC, not worth the bother. All the people planning to sell them off to bankroll their retirements are going to be sorely disappointed. 🙄
  13. Very windy here today. Power went out from about 3 to 6. Ruined Easter dinner. 😒
  14. There's several of these on the latest AMT '29 Woddy kit sheet.
