  1. Now that's a kit I've never seen built before. seen the MPC/ Airfix version but didn't know Revell even did one. Looks exactly the same which is kinda disappointing as the real car looks much better than the kit versions. You did a great job on the kit though and the color you chose suits it perfectly. Looks like it would fit fight in on the original Battlestar Galacta serise. BTW, the real car was built in 1976.
  2. I wasn't sure about that grey when you first painted it but it sure looks good finished. She's beautiful.
  3. Well, it works fine for me Bill. I actually did have both Chrome and Firefox on this machine. Never use them because I just don't care for how they work. Just a simple matter of what you like to use. Dropped Chrome altogether, just have Firefox because it's what was on the computer at my wife's work. Easier for her to use the one browser than two different ones. and no, I don't have dial up or or "hi-speed" internet. Haven't had that for years.
  4. See what I mean about people trying to get you to get a new browser? LOL It's true that IE didn't work well on this site but that was years ago with older versions of the program. Browsers seem to be very much like a religion around here.
  5. Thanks again guys. Here's another mockup. Finished detailing the grille and replaces the molded in headlights with some resin ones I made last weekend. I ended up with quite a few headlights, I'll have lots for any projects I'll need them for later.
  6. If you're using Internet Explorer all you need to do is go onto "tools" open "compatibility view settings" and klik on where it says "add this website" That should take care of it. You shouldn't need to get another browser even though some people around here will preach it to you like they're getting paid by the convert from other browser companies.
  7. Some of you in the eastern 1/2 of the continent may have heard of "Irving" as in gas stations etc. but some may not know they used to build their own trucks. Scot trucks were a pretty common sight here in the Maritimes and eastern Canada.
  8. Finished the paint. I think it turned out pretty good.
  9. I had one of his first '72 Rivieras. Never again. BTW, sometimes that light you see at the end of the tunnel is actually the headlight of the midnight freight about to mow ya down.
  10. AMT '71 Charger has a very nice 440 auto combo.
  11. You could stretch that to '79 for some cars. That's the engine my '79 Nova had in it.
  12. Good enough to put on a Scale Auto Magazine cover car.
  13. This is just too kool !!
  14. Keith Marks does them. In a couple different colors too.
  15. That's just stunning Bill.
  16. It'd be nice. Bob Ellis is right about the MPC tooling.
  17. That's pretty cool Mark. Love the shot of orange at the bottom, breaks up the black & white nicely.
  18. Yes, that's exactly how I did it Mark but I think I'd do them solid if I did it again. Much easier to keep strait and the carrier film wouldn't show after clearcoating anyway.
  19. "68 has side markers, '67 doesn't.
  20. IIRC, the "Used Cars" kit was given out as a gratuity at the premier of the movie, not something you could actually buy anywhere. They did find their way into the hands of kit collectors after a while though. I read that they actually had an MPC Camaro annual kit in the boxes.
