Well, I don't have the '70 interior right in front of me but I do have the pics I took when I built the car and the '69 interior right here. Comparing them, the bucket itself is identical right down to the door engraving and the ash tray on the left side rear arm rest. The dash is identical right down to the mold lines on the side. There are a couple rather large locating posts molded to the very back of the tub that I don't think were on the '70 but aside from that, identical. Maybe this person on the other forum you mention has the MPC/AMT kit and doesn't realize they're different kits? I doubt you switched the '69 and '70 buckets before you sent it to me. ? The '70 I have didn't have stock front seats when I got it so can't compare them. Now ,, I checked the MPC/AMT interior bucket in the AMT body I have. It's a hare narrower but nothing a couple strips of thin plastic on the outside of the window sills wouldn't take care of. Maybe bevel the front edge of the dash where it meets the windshield and it should go right in. The MPC/AMT chassis plate fits like it was made for it,, I'd dare say it fits this body better then the one it came with.

The AMT and MPC mustang kits ARE both 1/25 scale despite what everyone was lead to believe, it's just the MPC kit body seems to have been made a bit shorter to fit the older chassis. They are almost exactly the same width and height. When I was building my blue '70 seen earlier in this thread I was seriously considering using the MPC bumpers if I couldn't find suitable originals or resin copies. They were the same width and would have fit with a bit of minor sanding. In fact, I did have the front bumper sanded and fit to the AMT body.

What would YOU like to see as a model

They did. The annual kits were based on the promo tooling. I always thought they looked dead on to me. -

That one is identical to my old one ,, only in MUCH better shape. And I think the lowrider crowd would buy out the production run just by themselves. -
In no order and I reserve the right to make changes and/or additions. Doug and the Slugs , , , Music for the hard of thinking Men at Work , , Business as Usual Rick Springfield , , , Living in Oz The Police , , , Ghost in the Machine and mentioned in another list, ABC , , ,The Lexicon of Love

Matt, did you get "The Lexicon of Love II" the follow-up that came out in 2016? No radio hits as there's no songs on it written by and middle aged Swedes but a solid album in the same vein as the original.

That sounds very encouraging. ?

Steve, I guess there's not much chance that the rear bumper was narrowed so it fits properly, would there? It's not "that" bad but it should fit flush.

The chassis from the earlier Firebirds is now under the '79 that was issued a few years ago. I think the Camaro chassis is identical but there may be some very small differences. I know the only way I could tell them apart was sometimes the color of the plastic. I have an original '73 Camaro and '74 Firebird I could check later if you like.

Clearcoat over Revell Chrome spray paint
Can-Con replied to BKIN10SECS's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Thanks for the link Rich. That model looks fantastic, but to me, it doesn't look like chrome, although it does look better then what I did last night. Good to know that decals won't stick to the AK stuff though and you figure the Revell is about the same? I was planning to use it on some 1/144 airliner models I have so now I know to look out for that. -

Ok, so show us some pics. You know what they say , "No pics, it didn't happen". ? For me, it's good but not perfect. Any dulling would put it into the "pointless" territory for me. -
Clearcoat over Revell Chrome spray paint

I just tried brushing some strait from the bottle on some Revell chrome that had been drying for a few weeks ,,, dulled it. -
Okey may still be alive and strong but JoHan certainly is not. Like Bob said, the only thing he has right now is the JoHan name and some assorted parts. I highly doubt he even has any licensing from any car companies to produce the models anymore. The only good thing about the JoHan Road Runners was the bodies anyway. Round2 would be much better off just scanning a real Road Runner and using it to create a new body for their existing chassis. After all, that's about what most builders who want to build a more serious replica do, just use the body parts and swap out a much better chassis. This has been gone over again and again on this board so many times it should be a pinned topic. ?

It was originally the "Horn Toad" kit before the questionable "update".
