  1. Huh? Customized? WANT WANT WANT!!!! HAHAHAHA
  2. WOW... that car is identical to a car a friend in France bought, color, stripes, wheels and tires even. 390 Drag pack car. I flew to New York, drove it to Ohio and prepared it for shipping. Very cool and fast car
  3. I do not believe one ever existed unless in resin. Any full size 67 Ford would be wonderful though.
  4. Great job on the headers
  5. Very nice. The satin paint looks cool. I like the white frame also. I just bought this, any problems with assembly?
  6. I received the sealed kit today. Cannot get pics now but here is a quick run down. Your basic 40 sedan delivery kit. Front and rear fenders are filled as shown, around the headlights poorly though. I am going to hang onto them for a custom build with quad lights. No loss if it does not work out. Typical 40 Ford kit nailhead engine with supercharger or tri power (stock flattie included) Stock hubcaps and trim rings, also a set of plain center hubcaps. No stock wheels or tires Stock and custom dash and seats Super dropped front axle and standard drop chrome front axle Separate pipe and muffler for dual exhaust (stock single molded in) Stock and ribbed bumpers Stock headlights and lenses included Stock and billet style steering wheels Stock grill or solid filler Funky flex rear end Wheels and tires..... well, Spex summed that up The main body is stock with the exception of holes for the visor. Hood louvers in box art separate hole in hood for a "V" hood ornament (which is present) Rides typical 1 sided rotor and caliper set up (4 of them) and in Ertl fashion, the custom headlight buckets, rings and visor are missing from this sealed kit. To bad, I had a use for the headlights. So, if you have a set of fenders, and can buy this cheap, you can build a 40 SD
  7. Some were okay.... 67 Impala, Ford GT, 2004 GTO and a couple others. Not sure of the Merc or 72 Chevy truck.
  8. Will do my best. Gotta get a new camera first.
  9. Looks better with the contrast. FYI, The vinyl should go all the way to the 1/4 window trim though. Yours looks similar to what a 72 or 73 has. Nice part is, with the tape, it can always be modified. When happy, add the trim. This will help with your shape on the bottom
  10. Cool project and cool car. Parts of it remind me of a Falcon.
  11. My guess is they are the Kelsey Hayes wheels from the 66 Mercury Parklane.
  12. make the skirts removable with straight pins and a small magnets glued inside the body? Just a thought Overall, I vote no skirts though
  13. Super Cool.... not what was expected for sure
  14. Not overly impressed with his work on this one. I know his builds go for big bucks sometimes, but this one is a definite rush job IMHO I think Porscheman's is equally nice. yes, the top needs a little, but he went further than the 'bay car.
  15. I'll try to do that for you I have the Rides 65 Ford, to lower the rear, the axle is bowed, like it could be an independent rear, but it is the solid 9" rear...
  16. Thanks, I saw that, but for just a tad more, I got the kit..... delivered. I have a project I can use the lights on, another for the ribbed bumpers, wheels/tires go to the trash, rest gets divided to parts boxes.
  17. Not really sure why it is called a woody
  18. Well, I just ordered the Rides kit, I will update what I find in the box.
  19. Okay, it sounds as if it will work for me then. Thanks Makes 2 of us.
  20. Turned out really nice. One of the nicest I have seen actually
  21. Love 62's.... Front row filling fast!
  22. Found this kit cheap, I have a 40 SD I was rebuilding and was a bit of a glue bomb and was thinking of this as a donor. I heard somewhere that this kit is messed up (fenders lights, ect) What I need to know is if the main body is okay. The one I am rebuilding is bad, upon removing the ultra glued windows, the roof broke around the windshield and I figure it would be easier with a donor body. Any input is appreciated.
  23. Found this in my stash.... 1/24... so it will be a bit bigger.... yay
  24. Yea, I agree also, it does not need to be perfect, just not a BBC. I know a few Monogram kits have tunnel rams and I'll have to do some looking. A hemi is not out of the question Found the RG engine... gotta think bout it a bit. For the price of the Ross I can get a parts kit or two and have more extra parts. I will cut the tops off the Christine covers and use them because they have "Christine" cast in them
  25. HOLY SMOKES that's nice
