  1. Yes, it is a 55, but was the best pic showing the trim I could locate.... My '54 Skyliner I purchased a few years ago.
  2. If it is going to be a dark color, fill the quarter dimples. They appear on both sides. I did one in black and was sorry I did not. Love these old boats.
  3. That dimple was not too bad to fix. Love this kit! Have not done the custom version yet tho. Can't wait to see this. Subscribed
  4. My daily driver is a 33 year old Thunderbird. Good on fuel, easy maintenance, Have not had any issues at all. I do keep an ignition module in the trunk "just-in-case" She just gets a good douse of oil before winter.
  5. For what it is, it is nice. Wish it was a full detail kit tho
  6. Ironic part, the Revell kit "looks" identical. A comparison is in order.
  7. My response to Mr Sexton would have been "Well, the 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 63, and 64 Chevies were already done and very available still." Between AMT, Lindberg and Revell/Monogram you could only buy/build 49,50,53,56,57,60,61,63,64,65, and 66 Fords. If you want you could include the AMT 70 Ford 4 door in that list. You forgot the 69 Ford........ Also, How many Camaro kits we need? Mustangs too, other than a new tool 71-73, I am good.
  8. My response to Mr Sexton would have been "Well, the 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 63, and 64 Chevies were already done and very available still."
  9. Get some styrene and add the piece at the top of the quarter. Will finish it off nicely.
  10. where is th "like" button
  11. Personally... I like the taillights
  12. Just give me the boot and uptop... if separate side panels, give me both (and rear seat) The well........ well well well...... the conv well with a cover for the HT. Minor modifications gave Lindbergh a 53 Ford Conv after the Victoria.
  13. Why not hardtop kits with convertible options?
  14. Sorry, no luck on a funny car...
  15. Same here Andy, Ive built a few over the years and have another 2 in the stash. so many different possibilities with this kit. I built this in the late '80's I keep thinking of a tear down to remove the front fender mold lines, but I could never duplicate the paint. It was some metallic blue base with a pearl purple topcoat and some oddball clear. No rubbing on this paint job. Rattle-canned and assembled.
  16. Can't wait for the current release. Looks great
  17. Very nice..... and Wow, I am doing one in the same colors. One of my favorite kits.
  18. back in 85 a friend had a '71 CS in HS but it had the good 429 in it. 10:1 comp stock, DOVE heads, C6, Towing package with a 3:25 locker. Badass car.
  19. How about a 58 Ranchero? Change the trim, hood and nose.
  20. I'd have to pass on that, but would buy these.........
  21. That doesn't say much about the type of printer. It could be an fdm filament style printer or possibly a dlp stereolithographic top down kit. For that you would need a dlp projector unless you know how to modify a cheap suitable one. That will cost you in the $600 to $700 range. My dlp projector ran me $607, but I didn't have to do any mods to it. http://www.computerworld.com/article/2865762/xyzprinting-unveils-349-3d-printer-hi-res-machine.html I know nothing about them, so this is what I read
  22. I put my guesses under the pics above
