  1. I'd vote for any AMC product or Mercury since there is not that much out there. 58 Ford would be a must have also.
  2. I tried the hoarding thing on the BMF.... it wrinkled and was useless then. I am going to make my own and try it. Here is the how to vid https://youtu.be/mUhfdTqUpTY
  3. that's pretty cool. Wanting to get rid of it?
  4. 9x13 can fit a bunch of parts
  5. Yes, he did deserve to make a ton of money. I have quite a few of the MK kits in my stash. There are only a few I did not get me hands on.
  6. maybe..... I personally like the sellers selling a vintage AMT kit for big bucks... yet you can get the same kit at the LHS and it's in the same box.
  7. Yea, and I bet it pisses off the Ebay hoarders. Hahahahaha
  8. I want these.... had em as a kid. Loved the Monogram Big n Littles
  9. Not me........... Hahahaha
  10. I agree 100%. I was interested in the Buick also, and do not have it for the same reasons. The Styline 61 Ford sold well, but does have a lot of options. Even though they are curbsides, some bonus parts (wheels, tires especially) and some nice decals, I think it would do well. Be sure that the 67 Mustang is released at the same time. I know I would donate the chassis even though it is not 100% correct.
  11. Bill, I was just saying. I am not real familiar with the nailhead. I know the port spacing is unique and would notice if they were incorrect like even spaced or like a SBC..... as for them being off... I never noticed.
  12. According to this, the ports look fine to me.
  13. was rather pricey thru Model King.... that's all.
  14. I want to see the Craftsman 64 Comet. We know the tool exists
  15. You are correct Ron, nothing is "perfect" I am the same way, I look forward to test shots and reviews. Sad part is, like the Mustang you commented on, I have not bought one..... yet. I may eventually, but that roof line does ruin the character of the car. As a 1:1, I always thought a lower roof would look better, and it really does look good lower, but is not correct. A low slung road racer build would work well though.
  16. There should never be an issue with pointing out flaws, and the kit manufacturers should be able to read and make a better product from it. Then comes all the personal attacks, or the ones sayin "here we go again" That kills the thread. My recent thread about posts being deleted was deleted because that started. Sad that the ones that want a better kit have to consider just being quiet so they are not called a rivet counter.
  17. Saw the post and did not save it to my bookmarks. Can anyone help? I did a search and came up with a lot of posts with nothing to do with it.
  18. Great looking Fairlane
  19. This is one of those lacking detail under the hood and chassis but looks great kits. I have a few, will get a few more.
  20. Sweet 41. I may need this
  21. Awesome
  22. Love the green!!!!!
  23. Cool.... Dated kit but builds to a nice looking kit. Do a lot of trial fitting. The interior tub does not sit in the frame flat. The issue can be sanded out pretty easily. I trimmed off the flat piece on the top of the floor (above the rear end) and sanded the interior corners to sit the tub into the floor pan more. I believe I sanded the top side of the trans cross member also. Made a big difference This will help keep the body from sitting crooked and the floor hanging down to low below the rocker.
