  1. I was going to mention having a look at your build up thread to see a good way of doing this. Looking great still man.
  2. That donk is looking grand in my opinion dude. Also here is the site I found which is a massive help with chevelle reference: http://chevellestuff.net/1967/index.htm
  3. That's a fantastic colour man. She looks great all shiny! PM for you too.
  4. dude...
  5. Cobwebs too??? This is a great build. It looks t5ruly weather beaten. Nice details and the slightly flattened tires make it look that much better. Well done man. :thumbsup
  6. True that. I like the Pegasus wheels but am not into 20+ inch wheels. Between 15-18 inch is good enough. Depending on price, I would be keen also. The five spokes would look good with converse spokes too. Especially with the dish and lip size like that.
  7. man... this is rad as. Truly intense build and the finish on everything is perfect! It's dirty and rusty and beautiful. Way to go, awesome job. Would have made a great 'workbench' topic.
  8. That looks fun! Nicely done and she really looks good all round. Wheels, stance, decals all come together to make a great period look.
  9. that is a really nice build. Did you keep it stock under the hood?
  10. wires, boots, dizzy... all look great. She's coming together nicely mate.
  11. So very sorry to hear of your loss. No words can ease what you are going through, and none can encapsulate the gravity of your situation. My deepest sympathy to you all.
  12. Awesome learning builds. Welcome back to the bench mate. The three look fantastic. I use AA paints as well and I know you have to see them in person to really get a sense of the depth the colours have. I hope the comp's go well for ya!
  13. You'd never get my arse in that. Seriously, my arse is far too large now. Looks like it would be a ball though.
  14. Man... I have spent a lot of today scouring the net and ebay australia AND the US for info/details on my Cuda. I have the orange molded '86 ProStreet version I bought new and built (shoddy as buggery) in the late 80's and it has been floating around in boxes since then. I am trying to figure outr what to do with her now, as I recall the chassis being povo, I believe I cut it up to use the tubs on a hotrod, and the engine I think went into an old Anglia drag car. Here is all I have left of her now:
  15. Thats a very neat dizzy Joe. Is it in a clamp of some sort?
  16. Thanks HJ Thanks Jim! I actually just finished scrutinizing every post on your Baldwin Camaro lol. A compliment from you means a lot bud, your work is superb. Thanks again.
  17. This chassis. This whole build. Inspirational. Well worth the 12 page read. Thanks for the WIP Jim. She came out absolutely beautiful.
  18. Pretty sure I have a dose of The Plague at the moment. I have reworked the firewall and radiator support panel though. Got a mock up did. The body is just in flat black as a primer, lightly scuffed, hence the scratch marks. Glad I did mock her up as the front seems to be a little high. Might be something catching on the interior panels, will have to look into that. But here she is at the moment, lots of lines and wiring all astray in the bay.
  19. That blue is gonna look great with clear. Reminds me of an old '78 Falcon streeter I had. Here is what I had to work with in the AMT kit. The most basic steering set up on any kit ever. And a pic of the front end with the scratch I built.\
  20. the part I dig about this build, I mean apart from the fact that it is coming along great and will finish up completely awesome, is that your pics show a desk almost as messy as mine!
  21. Holy butts that looks good man. Love the deep blues. I agree on the stripes, all Monaro's look killer wearing them. Bring her around and I will mask it up for ya
  22. That's a whole lot of wheelarch for a skinny little front runner looking ace man.
  23. It's okay to be childlike since we are playing with toys
  24. Looking good! And coming together a lot faster than my '67 Chassis detailing... it's fun. At least you have some okay starting points. I'm doing the AMT chevelle and it has a terribly simplified front end.
  25. I'm in lust.
