  1. I was really excited to see this, then I realized it's the same old crappy 1/27 scale kit. 😣
  2. This scoop on the pictured '70 Cyclone is actually a Boss 429 Mustang scoop. The Cougar/Comet (and 69 Cyclone) scoop is shorter and shaped a bit different, the front of the scoop is narrower than the rear. I have one of these scoops on my 1:1 '68 Fairlane.
  3. There were plans for a Boss 429 Cougar Eliminator in 1970 as well according to this Car Craft mag article. So, there were at least 3 real Boss 429 Cougars made according to my math. This one being a prototype most likely didn't get a KK number or a "Z" engine code.
  4. The 1967 isn't my favorite Galaxie, but I'd buy a kit. It's the only 60s Galaxie I don't have in my stash. A 427 LTD would be really cool....😎
  5. It sure would be nice to get a street Cyclone kit....
  6. There were THREE teams! I've got enough plastic to do all 3 teams, just missing some decals.
  7. I'm already chompin' at the bit! Thx Eric 👍
  8. Did you fab up that hood scoop?
  9. 2WD to 4WD swap...........
  10. That looks great! I just ordered a N-Series cab from Global to build a drag car hauler. 😎
  11. The modeling world needs less Dusters and Darts, and more real Performance Cars......
  12. No idea what version they're releasing, but this will be my first build... the REAL Eleanor.
  13. Here ya go.... https://www.ebay.com/str/missinglinkresincastmodelcars
  14. This one has a Revell '68 Mustang CJ chassis and drivetrain. Unfortunately the air cleaner won't fit under the hood. Also, the kit doesn't include a rear valance, so I cobbled one up from the crappy AMT 71 Mach I kit.
  15. Chevys and Mopars as usual. 👌 And the Ford guys get a Mustang II...... yay.👌
  16. I use this site... https://www.licenseplates.tv/1968_michigan_state__2092.html Then I open the image in Windows Paint to make any mods. I print them on non-glossy photo paper, and then glue them to the bumper.
  17. I'm hoping to see one (or both) of the Dyno PS Mavericks. They already have a nice Cammer to go with it. This image has been floating around for a few years.... https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/138111-moebius-dyno-don-maverick/
  18. Wow...GREAT news for us Ford/Mercury guys! Will there be a Maverick Grabber with the rear spoiler and fake hood scoops? THX DAVE!!!!
  19. The rumor that refuses to die! ?
  20. Any update on when these will be shipped? I'm hoping to get a couple at the Detroit show in November.
  21. Don't forget to change the dash VIN plate!! ??
  22. This one is on my to-do list, just need to find the decals.
  23. My suggestions...........
  24. The Grabber Blue Quarterhorse was used in the short-lived TV series Dan August, starring The Bandit and Mr. Roper. I have no idea why the hood is red.
  25. How about the 68/69 Fairlane/Torino/Cobra convertible, any chance that will make a comeback?
