  10. Yup, and Ford called it Poppy Red, Calypso Coral, and Competition Orange!
  11. Actually the Comets did not use the twisted leaf suspension. The 1965 AFX Mustangs, a few 1966 Longnose Mustangs, and Phil Bonner's 1965 Falcon were the only cars that used that suspension, all H&M built cars. The Comets were built by Stroppe. Dyno did put a straight axle in it early on. s restored 1965 Comet.
  12. Dyno Don's cars were NOT Poppy Red. Gas Ronda's were...........
  13. It pops up regularly on Facebook, along with all the other fake news.
  14. There were three Boss 429 Cougars. The two white 1969 R-codes that went to Dyno & Fast Eddie, and there was also a 1970 Eliminator prototype used for maqazine road test duty.
  15. Everyone that bought one off ebay for $75 will not be happy to see this.
  16. That is a beautiful restoration. Or I should say, recreation. The only thing original on that car is the firewall.
  17. 1968 Fairlane 500 I bought in 1982.....
  18. The gray car is a tribute car, the white one is the real deal.
  19. I'm looking to reproduce a Gooche decal I have. I'm not sure if I should farm it out or try to do it myself. I have zero experience in printing decals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
  20. Picked up a RMR Econoline pickup at the Toledo show. She's going to be Poppy Red! http://www.rmrmodels.com/index.html
  21. This is the real JC car.....
  22. It's coming along slowly. Chassis is nearly done, paint is done. Lots of details left to work out....
  23. I'm not finding any either.
  24. That is Brannan's Bronco, built the summer of '65. It has the front wheels moved three inches forward, requiring the the front valance to be cut out for spring clearance.
