You are not kidding! Discovered that the frame posts for the cab hinge are different lengths and had to move one up higher on the frame. -

Years ago I built the carrier USS Forestal because I had a cousin serving on her. i gave it to his Mother after he was killed in the fire in 1967. built the USS Constitution in the late 70's but it got crushed during a move. I have it to build again if I can find the box it is hiding in!

another one I deal with, causes weakness in my legs occasionally especially after sitting or standing for long periods. can't fix it because it is in the area that the fusion was done.

Broke my back in 1997 and had lumbar fusion and laminectomy done at 2 levels, was supposed to by 3 but my heart rate became unstable so they closed asap. Left me with more pain than I had before the surgery. Sciatica is a daily thing I have dealt with ever since. Not fun at all! Beware of the pain meds, steroids and muscle relaxants. If you don't have acid reflux now you will have in due time from them. Mine lead to Barretts Esophagus and the recent removal of a cancerous pollup in my stomach.

It scales out to 33-34 inches which is about right for a 55 gallon drum.

Was looking at the barrels from the Ford C600 and the just looked wrong, looked terrible. Cut down the top and bottom to fit inside. Spent way too much time on one but the result was worth it! 4 more to go. LoL

Got wheels and tires done. Debating on wheter to leave the silver bright or hit it with dullcoat. Discovered one of the cab pivots was 1/16 of an inch longer so had to cut it loose and move it down on the frame. -

I have 2 more. The tanker kit will turn into a White 3000 with tank trailer. The kit with the flatbed will be built like a truck I used to see in Indiana that had either dual drive or more likely a tag axle that I would see hauling a short flatbed trailer with a single steel coil. -

The driveshaft would have been too long in 1:1 so I made a split shaft and added a carrier ti an added crossmember . -

Love these old trucks especially the cabovers! Great built you have going, wish I could afford some of their s stuff. Would love to build an Emeryville! You need to stuff the tires to keep then on the wheels. I know guys use some kind of foam pieces but I have always used rolled up napkins or paper towels. -
Well my three sons chipped in together and bought me a new laptop computer for fathers day! They said my 12 year old desktop was too slow!LOL Then we got some more pictures of our great grand son. Asher! This was the best one! He was ready to cool off in his pool with mom.

Tough game as you never know quite what the course conditions will be. I had a game like that once. Third time ever golfing (and my last) using rental clubs. Went with my father-in-law to please my wife. He didn't say a word from the last putt and on the way home. Never ever asked me to go again!LOL

That is the stance out of the box.
