Great looking build. Love the battle damage on the tail, looks realistic. My dad Piloted B17s at the end of the war in Germany along with his two brothers. Dad moved into fighters and was lost in Korea a few days before I arrived. One of his brothers was a radio operator/waist gunner and lost a leg on his 17th flight and their younger brother was on the ground patching them up to get them in the air asap. I was lucky enough to experience flying in one a few years back. Just taking off and landings gave you a great appreciation of those that went up day after day.

Was glued together mostly unpainted. Had this kit when it first was released and it was one of my models stolen when we were moving in 1977. Got this one off ebay because it was mostly complete and what I can't save I will use parts from a gluebomb newer release. Interior almost done, like I originally did used the overhead console for the missing center one. Used two mirrors for the consol mounted speedometer and tach. Now how to do the steering wheel.

Hate to say it but I guess it means we are getting old.

I'm calling it done. Was a real pain and not reallt happy with it, but being the kit it ia I guess just finishing it is enough!LoL

2nd sister in the last 18 months. She passed following tumor removal surgery to massive organ failure. 30 years ago this month she was diagnosed with leukemia and was given a survival chance of 5% at 5 years. She definitely beat the odds, even out lived the doctor!

Helped build a couple of these in 1:1. Just took out the side door section. Boy were they squirrley to drive! I did one out of the old Revell?? kit. -
Back on this one again. Decided I couldn't replicate the original vuild which was red so went with a creamsicle look! Just finishing up the foil work.

I found it neccessary to sand the edges of the center brace to square it up and fit correctly. Also make sure you get the side panels in the right order. It is a real challenge for sure but can build up nicely.

The problem seems to root in the fact this chromebook only has googles os and most copiers require a MS os. Even the manufactures assistance people could not give me a definitive answer on what will work. Suggested to keep trying different ones. They even suggested that I should run my chromebook through another computer that is connected to a printer!LOL

My sons gave it to me for fathers day. It has ports but because it is all google os it wont work with mos5 printers it seems. Google ended the cloud printing in 20 or 21.

Recovering from "the virus" and need to print forms for insurance and the hospital. My new laptop I find is not compatible with my printer nor two others I had to return to Best Buy because the ones they said would work didn't! Have an ASUS Chromebook. So had to pull the old desk top out and get it all wired back up.

Looks good! Brings back fond memories. When we were kids would hear them and run outside to see them go over. Headed south and then later in the evening headed back north following US45. Found out years later they were flying freight and mail from Chicago to Champain . -
Interior ready to go in as soon as I do a little detail work on the cab. Wanted the sleeper open but didn't like the setup for the open curtains. Cut out the center of the closed curtain piece to add the upper bulkhead panel and lowered the bunk a hair lower than the top edge of the interior bucket.
