  1. That is definitely green! The colors really pop! Have a feeling it's going to be a great build!
  2. Getting some subassembly done. Weather too bad to paint outside for a while. May start some assembly on the trailer too. Did get the Bekins decals in the mail though!
  3. Got the decals for my BRBO build plus a set for a future build!
  4. Engine built. Forst time I ever started at the begining of an instruction sheet!LOL
  5. Got the look of a bare bones workhorse fleet truck! Fantastic job! Like the single exhaust although it seems every truck I drove with a Detroit (other than a 6-71 ) had dual exhaust??? LOL I love cabovers, almost never drove a hood, only when there was no other choice! Felt like I was on top of the world looking down!LOL
  6. Got Bekins decals on the way. Trying to find what rear suspension will work to do a single drive.
  7. He passed away quietly in his sleep with his wife of 12 days short of 42 years and 4 kids around him. He succumbed to his COPD after a 10 year battle with the disease at the age of 63. He was a welder and auto body painter most of his life until his lungs gave out and opened his hobby shop. Unfortunately he wouldn't give up his smoking for 6 months as requested which caused him to be dropped from the lung transplant list. His health and loss of business because of covid forced him to close his hobby shop at the end of October.
  8. Decals in the van are shot am going to try and get Red Ball or Bekins decals for the build.
  9. I guess I could give it a go! I'll do a Bedbugger rig with an AMT GMC Astro and Moving van trailer. Have to see what livery decals I can find for it.
  10. My intentions were to try and build 1 or more cars a month this year but because of the lack of good quality BMF I guess I'll work on my semi trucks and trailers.
  11. Today, what irks me is Bare Metal Foil that doesn't want to stick and looks rough once applied!
  12. After they moved into the super store my wife worked at they had a fantastic cleaning crew. But here lately they have so many unfilled jobs (also they for some reason are cutting hours ) the whole store is a dirty mess. Walmart, just like when I worked as a school janitor it seems the girls/lady's rooms were always the messiest!
  13. Decided to post one more picture in WIP. After to paint disasters on the tanks decided to do Bare Metal Foil. Not as good as I hoped as this latest version of BMF is terrible! Not only thicker but did not want to stick. Used some ancient glue in a rubber tipped bottle to make it stick. Sent a complaint to the BMF people.
  14. If I could afford it I'd be heading for Az., Fl. or Tx.! Calling for 3-5 inches here today thru tomorrow.
  15. I can remember reading somewhere about how this stuff would begin to happen!
  16. Sounds like Walmart bathrooms!LOL When maintenance wasn't on duty they cart pushers were recruited to clean up the messes. When I worked Parking Lot Security I actually had to break up a fist fight that started over who was going to go in!LOL
  17. With the help of the US Martial's Office and Indiana State Police they apprehended him and She surrendered to the local police accompanied by her lawyer. 6 others including his mother have been arrested in connection with this horrible tragedy. Some on obstruction charges.
  18. On short notice, tto hard to get it out tonight. I molded in the teardrop scoop from the 66 Ford Galaxie XL kit.
  19. Another one where the perp should not have been on the street.
  20. Forward to accelerate, back to slow down, left or right to steer! Scary thought! LoL
  21. I still remember how hilarious it was the first time on air he got to use the technology for drawing out the plays on screen! He was like a big kid with a new toy!LOL He was a man who really enjoyed life and what he was doing in life to the fullest!
  22. Last picture for WIP. Heading down the home stretch!
