  1. My wife quit watching The Price Is Right when BOB retired, said it wasn't the same any more. Loved him in the fight scene in Happy Gilmore!
  2. Frame pretty well done drive train in. Molded the passenger side fender piece to the hood. Not perfect but my putty was not in great shape. Also fixed the headlights. Maybe get paint on the cab tomorrow.
  3. I hate spiders but for some reason tarantulas didn't bother me. I was watching a friends in 6th grade while he was away over Christmas break and it managed to get out of it's home and I never did find him. I was afraid it would turn up in either my sisters or grandmas bedroom one day! My friend didn't get mad just said it was the second one that got away!!!
  4. Wife has a cousin who is the sales department at the Ford dealer here. They have lost some long established customers over them refusing to take their own vehicles back in trade! He said they can't sell a used one said the few they did take in the beginning they had to take a huge hit on therm selling them to other dealers. Their dealership will only sell an EV on prepaid orders.
  5. I had a mix I made trying for Detroit green. It ended up a mix of aluminum, green and lightened with flat white all testors enamels.
  6. Just the picture gave me a chill up my spine!LOL
  7. Sweet looking Mack! I drove for Stone Container Corp. in Herrin IL. for a couple years in the 1980's all we had were some old late 70's International S2200's that were held over when Stone bought out Southwest Forrest Ind..
  8. Chassis done and a little weathering on the engine. Cab in primer drying right now maybe first color on thursday.
  9. Me too! I make my wife take care of them. She gets them on her hand and takes them outside!!!
  10. Great replica build! Love those years of the Internationals. I ran a 4070 as an owner operator in the late 70's and the very last truck I drove was a farm based 1979 Transtar II in pea green with dark green striping! Last time I saw the poor old girl she was sitting in the weeds behind the repair shop. Offered to buy it but the kids grandpa bought it new and he and his dad wanted to keep it.
  11. When I started building this kit in the early 90's there wern't any tri-axles in the area, rarely see them today around here. This is similar to the dump box I would occasionally pull at the last place I drove for.
  12. Converted to a two axle. Otherwise basically box stock other than pinning the landing gear recessing the side marker lights and making new tailgate handles.
  13. Had the pleasure of meeting him back in 1981 he was visiting a friend who was my neighbor at the time. Seemed like a great guy. One of my favorite bands.
  14. Great news Michael! Dr sent me for blood work in July I asked the PA what tests he ordered and she told me and I asked about a PSA and she found I hadn't had one in over 5 years so she added it to the order. Luckily it came back good. Guys, ask your doctor when he orders routine blood work.
  15. Building it to go with the dump trailer. Can't believe how tough the crime plating is on this kit and most has to come off! Three days in purple power and still some remained! Another first is I am following the instructions and removing parts as I go because so many extra parts seem to be in the kit. So far it has been a pain! LOL
  16. Painted the dump bed today. Just ent out to get it and the tailgate was gone. Wasn't windy so was puzzled until I walked around the corner of the building where evidently one of our rats with bushy tails dropped it!
