Cleaning out the closet and looking in all the boxes to see what I have left. These were all built in the 1980s I am sure as the store bags they were in the store closed in 1987. Found one kit not finished Shelby Cobra.

Had this bag kit laying around a few years. Painted the body last fall for a winter project but didn't get to it. Just got the body foiled and decals on.(thanks to a genius member here. The green is a grass green trying to match one that was running around here in the early 80's.

Carl, I hate going to the doctor too but some times it is the safest thing to do. I would hate to think that bruised or cracked ribs would lead to you getting pneumonia which at our age can be life threatening.

What Older TV show's need to be put to rest already??

Not going to be far behind you. Rates keep climbing and they keep taking things away although seems we only watch 3 or 4 channels, mostly ones that show the old shows. and stream some of those on Tubi, Plex and freevee. -

All I can show is what I have here as the body and neck are an hour away in a shed with paint curing. Bought better electronics than the kit offered. My soldering skills are wanting but it all tested out good. -

Great job of weathering! -
All done except the passenger side door handle that popped out of the tweezer and disappeared into the model parts black hole!

Great looking build going on there David. Worked on two of these in 1:1 at the VW shop the white was a very close match to Fords Wimbleton White.

Thanks to member Phirewire I was able to finish this kit. It has been a real adventure in parts fitting to say the least. LoL The last thing I did was the roof irons. I sanded them down about 60% and then cut them down to fit the roof better.

Have an acquaintance that quit in January, Said it was just took taxing and stressful. More since the 2020, 2021-22 problems. Working extra hours because of no-shows, called in on days off and working short handed a lot! Things we don't hear about. Said they have people who do this chronically even just announcing they don't feel good and leaving without a replacement so you wind up doubling up what you are responsible for! The real kicker, these ones doing this don't get fired!

The tires and wheels are what came in the original kit. The tires have a plastic piece to achieve a wider look and the lettering. -
Those old two stroke three lung bikes were wild rides for sure!

Finished as far as I want to go. Was an original kit that was an unpainted glue bomb and used parts from a later kit to rebuild.

I would have run my old H2 Kawasaki against the Suzuki any time. H1 I had would hold its own two until it would melt another center cylinder piston.!LOL

I bought a 71 basket case for 100 dollars in the mid 80's the guy had taken it all apart for some unknown reason. I did a quick paint job and put it together one weekend. Was one of the best bikes I ever owned! Rode it for two years until it broke a cam. Sold it for 500 dollars as is. Fastest I had it was 110mph had a shake between 85 and 90 mph that went away above 90. Never figured that out as I didn't need to kill myself so never went that fast again on it. It handled curves great and was pretty quick off the line. I wouldn't mind having one today!
