  1. One my favorite albums is Not Fragile even have it still on an 8 track. Rest in peace Brother Drummer.
  2. It came down to uniqueness for me to pick from this group of great builds.
  3. My failed BRBO 2022 entry. Didn't get the trailer done so it was not my promised complete entry. Lowered the cab, shortened the tanks and altered the exhaust and air intake. Otherwise out of box build.
  4. Merry Christmas to all you plastiholics out there! We were remembering past Christmases and rememberd when our youngest grandson who was three at the time wished their Jewish neighbors "Happy Harmonica"! The husband laughed so hard he cried!
  5. Decided to do some alteration to the taillight. I know it isn't quite correct but closer to what it should have been.
  6. Chassis done, need to shift 5he front axle bach about 1/16 inch. Did a little black wash on the wheels. Debated using the wheels from the newer kit but decided to build it as it came with the small wheels and tires. Trying to decide on just what gold to use. Used lime gold way back on one but it wan't quite right.
  7. Been using my open air paint booth for ever. Just can't use it in inclimate weather. Rarely have any issues with contaminates in the paint.
  8. Not going to get my project done. Weather and health wasn't cooperative for me. Got the Gmc done but couldn't get paint on the trailer.
  9. Great looking build. Love the battle damage on the tail, looks realistic. My dad Piloted B17s at the end of the war in Germany along with his two brothers. Dad moved into fighters and was lost in Korea a few days before I arrived. One of his brothers was a radio operator/waist gunner and lost a leg on his 17th flight and their younger brother was on the ground patching them up to get them in the air asap. I was lucky enough to experience flying in one a few years back. Just taking off and landings gave you a great appreciation of those that went up day after day.
  10. Was glued together mostly unpainted. Had this kit when it first was released and it was one of my models stolen when we were moving in 1977. Got this one off ebay because it was mostly complete and what I can't save I will use parts from a gluebomb newer release. Interior almost done, like I originally did used the overhead console for the missing center one. Used two mirrors for the consol mounted speedometer and tach. Now how to do the steering wheel.
  11. Hate to say it but I guess it means we are getting old.
  12. I'm calling it done. Was a real pain and not reallt happy with it, but being the kit it ia I guess just finishing it is enough!LoL
  13. Getting closer Doors glued shut. Getting the chassis was a real pain.
  14. 2nd sister in the last 18 months. She passed following tumor removal surgery to massive organ failure. 30 years ago this month she was diagnosed with leukemia and was given a survival chance of 5% at 5 years. She definitely beat the odds, even out lived the doctor!
  15. In an interview they said it was a crew of 5 which is what was on board when I had my ride a few years back.
  16. He played Capt. Rusty Wallace in the first season of Tour Of Duty.
  17. Helped build a couple of these in 1:1. Just took out the side door section. Boy were they squirrley to drive! I did one out of the old Revell?? kit.
  18. Back on this one again. Decided I couldn't replicate the original vuild which was red so went with a creamsicle look! Just finishing up the foil work.
  19. Maybe they couldn't come to a contract agreement with the network! So they walked!
