  1. Me too! I make my wife take care of them. She gets them on her hand and takes them outside!!!
  2. Great replica build! Love those years of the Internationals. I ran a 4070 as an owner operator in the late 70's and the very last truck I drove was a farm based 1979 Transtar II in pea green with dark green striping! Last time I saw the poor old girl she was sitting in the weeds behind the repair shop. Offered to buy it but the kids grandpa bought it new and he and his dad wanted to keep it.
  3. When I started building this kit in the early 90's there wern't any tri-axles in the area, rarely see them today around here. This is similar to the dump box I would occasionally pull at the last place I drove for.
  4. Converted to a two axle. Otherwise basically box stock other than pinning the landing gear recessing the side marker lights and making new tailgate handles.
  5. Had the pleasure of meeting him back in 1981 he was visiting a friend who was my neighbor at the time. Seemed like a great guy. One of my favorite bands.
  6. Great news Michael! Dr sent me for blood work in July I asked the PA what tests he ordered and she told me and I asked about a PSA and she found I hadn't had one in over 5 years so she added it to the order. Luckily it came back good. Guys, ask your doctor when he orders routine blood work.
  7. Building it to go with the dump trailer. Can't believe how tough the crime plating is on this kit and most has to come off! Three days in purple power and still some remained! Another first is I am following the instructions and removing parts as I go because so many extra parts seem to be in the kit. So far it has been a pain! LOL
  8. Painted the dump bed today. Just ent out to get it and the tailgate was gone. Wasn't windy so was puzzled until I walked around the corner of the building where evidently one of our rats with bushy tails dropped it!
  9. Like the lowboy, it was started in the early 90's then religated to the closet. Converted it to a 2 axle . Today started assembling the dump bed. Added an interior panel to the tailgate, it e Will be glued shut and will add false floor and might use kitty litter for a load when done.
  10. Calling it done until I have the load ready at that time l will add the tie down rings.
  11. I was told by a very old CF driver it was to remove one of the blind spots, that being the car hiding behind the mirror.
  12. Just finished with the mirrors this morning and calling it done.
  13. Got the wood ready to install. Had a dab of flat black enamel and just made a wash with it. Brushed on and wiped off.
  14. Great job on this build! I first thought the interior pictures were a 1:1 truck!LOL
  15. Getting a little closer to done. Had to undo and alter a few things to get the cab to set down right.
  16. Got color on the trailer. Probably take a week to dry though.
