  1. I hope you're wearing eye protection when using those brushes.
  2. I noticed today (12/19/19) he's 100 years old. CONGRATULATIONS!
  3. I've heard them called Drafting Pens. A simple Google search showed these as examples
  4. Very crisp & clean! Well done!
  5. Instead of a piece of sprue, consider using a threaded bolt. Wrap the wire around the bolt and the threads will result in consistent spacing of the wire.
  6. You can also cut off most of the shank of a pin vise and put the pin vise in the drill. That will let you use the smaller bits.
  7. What scale? There is a resin kit in 1/43 (I think) available.
  8. Very nicely done and just the right number of pictures.
  9. Very nicely done.
  10. While testing is underway, try brushing some thinned paint instead of using a Sharpie.
  11. Lay down a piece of masking tape that's about 1/2" wide. Cut a slit in the tape, leaving about 1/2" on each end of the tape un-cut. Remove the tape and apply it where you want the stripe. Apply a fine-point Sharpie in the slit, then remove the tape. You might want to practice on a plastic soda bottle before you do the real thing.
  12. Very nicely done and an excellent color choice. I take it the kit did not include an oil filter???
  13. Sounds similar to the problem with TS-13 a few years back.
  14. I regret bringing the one-plate topic up. This thread has altered course and seems to be focused on the one-plate issue, rather than the excellent work on the Dart.
  15. Thanks, Steve. If I build another model, I'll stick with Florida plates.
  16. In Florida, we only receive one plate.
  17. Try Amazon https://www.amazon.com/X-ACTO-X-Life-Classic-Blades-X611/dp/B00006ICJV
  18. Extremely well done! You captured the soul of that era. You're in Germany, so I can understand what happened: cars in Florida do not have a license plate in the front.
  19. While it may not be rubber, the insulation from small electric wire might work. The whole wire could also be used for coiled tubing.
  20. I guess I misunderstood
  21. You might want to look elsewhere...this is a forum for model cars etc.
  22. Go to the scene of a car wreck and pick up some pieces of red (amber too) plastic; sand & polish for tail lights and parking lights.
  23. Very well done! It's refreshing to see a non-fuel injected "Vette.
  24. Why not spray part of the sprue and see for yourself?
  25. Get 10 of 'em...might help fight off the zombies.
