Wow Dennis!! I will never look at a snap kit the same again! I just went back through your build thread. Amazing work!! The finished product is incredible!!
Thanks Dennis! Thanks Sam! Those rear tires are solid resin from Kit Form Services. They were cast with European type Budd wheels, but I drilled them out for the spoke replacements. The only problem with them is the area between the duals is not deep enough. I liked the tread though and I picked them up pretty cheap. The front are solids from KFS as well.
Thanks for all of the comments guys!
Thanks Harry, I'm still learning and hind sight is 20/20. Glad to see you back. I'm sure that wont be my last "OOPS" on this project. Most of that area of the manifold will be covered by the shifter assembly when it is finished. The shifter assembly mounted to the engine in these trucks.
Very nice!! Those tanks look great! I really like the interior too!! I've never seen one of these in person, but I believe you captured this one! Great work!!
Very nice work!! I like the orange!! But for some reason the song "Give me forty acres and I'll turn this rig around" is suddenly stuck in my head. Nice work on the sleeper too!
These sure are some great looking builds. Unfortunately, I only completed one semi truck this year.

I haven't taken any photos yet, but the wheels are regular 10 Alcoa style (not split rims), the frame measures 13" from square end to square end with the front spring hangers extending just slightly beyond the front of the square end of the frame.
Thanks for all the comments guys!!!
I got a little work done on the chassis today. The fuel tank is made from PVC pipe.
