  3. This one is going to be nice! My kind of build!! Great work so far!!
  4. Round 2 is supposed to be releasing that kit sometime around April unless something has changed. I think that is why I have seen several lately on Ebay. Given the history of your kit and the excellent condition of the box it definitely has some value. You may want to consider offering it up for trade here on the forum for a kit or some kits that you are interested in. It is free and the truck folks on the forum understand the value of it. If you really like you may just want to keep it given the history of it.
  5. Thanks for all the comments!!! Not much more progress this month. Still working out the bugs. The front springs had to be shortened. The H model steering box mounts behind the front axle from the factory, but I mounted the box in front of the axel because of the manifolds on the engine.
  6. Just my two cents, but I would paint the spokes and center hubs yellow with white rims and silver wedges. But what ever you choose will look great. Looking great so far.
  7. Looking very nice! I don't think that I've ever seen a Luberfiner on each side like that. Nice touch.

  19. Back in the day, when split axle Fords were converted to solid axles, we used to use the 1/2 ton front axles out from under the front of the 70's style Ford trucks with coil springs and radius arms. You could source the Firestone kit or B-N-L Resin sells those axles as well. If you are lifting it, you may want to consider using real coil springs. If you had a Dana 44 style hog's head from any kit, you could make your own axle tubes out of tubing. Just make sure to mount the hog's head upside down because those Ford axles were reverse cut. The Monogram may be 1/24 instead of 1/25 so you will have to adjust for that. The front would be similar to this:
  20. Thanks Terry, the 9500's are what I'm looking for, the old ugly green ones.
  21. I have dealt with many supplier that have similar processing time, so the 15 days didn't concern me. With that being said, I have also dealt with suppliers on this forum who were incredibly fast on delivery. I have ordered from KJ on Friday and had my parts by Tuesday.
