  1. Cool idea! Looks great!
  2. I like the color for sure! Looks great! Nice work Ken!
  3. Charles, the casting quality on this is second to none. It is completely clean. It may look heavy around the windshield, but it has photo etched windshield frames. The cab and the doors are detailed inside and out and the thickness of the casting is probably pretty close to the thickness of the actual truck cab. The hood sides are brass with vents in them. It comes with photo etch emblems, dash, grille and wiper blades. To my eyes, the fenders do look just a bit off, but reference pictures are so few it is hard to tell, and it would look better with 24” tires instead of 22”. If money allowed and I had access to order, I would try to get everything that Strato makes. I bought this one second hand and unfortunately I think that they only sell on Facebook, and I don’t Facebook. Thanks for the comments guys!!
  4. Thanks guys! Thanks Warren! It came with the doors separate.
  5. Looking forward to seeing this one complete!
  6. Beautiful build! It’s funny, the cars that I hated working on, I like to see built in scale. Excellent work!
  7. What Ken said!
  8. Wow what a lot of work! It looks perfect though!
  9. Man! This just keeps getting better!!
  10. This is the Strato-models resin kit. Everything else is from the parts box. Freightliner rails with various crossmembers, Cummins from my bag of leftover AMT engines, no donor kit for this one. This was inspired by a picture of a Carolina Autocar DC 100 that I found on line. If anyone knows the difference between a 1940s DC 75 and a DC100, please chime in.
  11. Thanks Brian! Thanks Sam! Good to hear from you!! Thanks Pete!!
  12. Now I’m even more impressed! Top notch work for sure!
  13. I really like what you have come up with here! The grille looks great! Did you rotate the fenders forward and add to the back? I like the frameless dump idea too! What kind of hinges are you using on the doors? They look great! Excellent work!!
  14. Looks great as a day cab! I used to think that all of the fit problems on these AMT truck kits were because I was a kid and didn’t know what I was doing, now over 40 years later they still don’t fit properly.?
  15. Excellent replica indeed! Excellent job opening the doors. How did you do the cab? Did you use the back of the old MPC cab on the AMT cab? I’m assuming that you used the MPC dashboard? Just curious. I like that you removed the rear ridge in the front fenders, I did the same thing on my last R-Model. Excellent work all around!
  16. Beautiful Titan! Excellent work!
  17. I like that added diamond plate to the bed. Looks great!!
  18. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Steve! Thanks Joe! Thanks Victor!! Thanks Bill!! Thanks Philippe!! Thanks Ken!! Thanks Chris!! Thanks Helmut!! Thanks Warren!! The battery box is styrene from the parts box, but I don’t remember what kit it came from.
  19. Thanks for all of the comments guys! This one is now Under Glass! Thanks Scott! Charles Rowley made the Mclean door decals for me. He does excellent work! The Mclean decals on the mud flaps are Gopher decals.
  20. I use aluminum sheet for lots of things including dump bed with plastic ribs. The room that my models are in varies between 58 and 70 degrees throughout the year and nothing is in direct sun light. I have never had any problems. Larger temperature variations may affect it though. Looks great with the metal Jeff!
