  1. Looks Good, Bo! I have that kit, waiting to be started.
  2. I had a '73 Dodge 3/4 Ton , Camper Special with the 400 Cu, 2 Barrel set up. It was a dog of a motor and would sometimes die, going around corners. Rain made it worse. Three Different Shops had it, trying to fix the carb problem. All failed. I still wish I had the truck though. With What I know now, I think I could get the problem resolved.
  3. Thanks, Guys. My Grandson (Luke) loved the new Cat Pics!
  4. You are correct about some guys wanting to buy a case. I hope it sells very quickly. (just not so fast, that I can't get at least one, LOL)
  5. Sorry to hear this. Always a Heart-Stopping moment when you get this news. I hope your job search goes well. Build some models. (or at least play with them a bit..)
  6. I see no evidence to support your comment. We have no idea exactly what he is doing to solve his problem. Possibly he is following up on some of the suggestions that have already been made.
  7. The Tweedy Pie Intake sounds like a great option for this kit.
  8. I am waiting to see the first "What's in the Box" videos. Should be one up on the Tubes, here in the next few weeks.
  9. I'd like to hear more details, about exactly which TD kits they have. The Horn Toad does nothing for me, but some of the VW powered Buggy Kits would great!
  10. This^^^^^^ Back to the car. I think I remember Tom Gaffney or Larry Greenberg in a kit review many years ago, telling us that the Air Cleaner in this kit was for a Euro Spec Camaro. I like Espo's story better, especially since he was there at the time driving the car. I just know that this kit is head and shoulders above the '81 Camaro that HPI Guy built a couple months ago. Both the Detail and Sophistication rival a glue kit in many ways, while the '81 is just a lump.
  11. Sharp Build! Great Work on the dio.
  12. It will be nice to get this kit. I prefer some parts of it to the AMT version.
  13. Good Question, Ron. Maybe we will see somebody do something about this.
  14. MALIBU SURFER HAT! According to an old copy of the instructions, any way!
  15. MPC Kit is the Airfix, Imported to the US. Eduard is the New Gold Standard. I would not touch the Bandai. Strictly for Collectors or Nostalgia Builders who fancy a good Wrestle, and have forgotten how the kit really is.
  16. Thanks for the links to Hurd Hobbies.
  17. Thanks for sharing that photo! I have never seen those parts before, only looked at the instruction sheet. What a complicated bit of kit!
  18. My Grandson will be back over next week, when his parents go back to work. I'll be showing him these! Thank You!
  19. I look forward to hearing the results, Joe/
  20. Yes, I do know this. But, all those parts in one box with fresh tires and decals, I'm in. Just have to ditch the engines, as both engines in the kit are not suitable. The Ford Motor was seldom used. (Very, Very Seldom) and the other is just as bad. And Neither is the Hemi called out on the decals. Major Fail on the part of Atlantis, but fixable. I'll be dropping in a 283 Chevy, which was used quite often in the little Fiats.
  21. Raining Here. Been raining the last 24 hours. 52 deg. No Hiking today.
  22. Man, makes me really want one, now! Thanks for sharing.
  23. I want to thank all of you guys for posting your cat pictures. Once or Twice a week, my 4 year old Grandson sits on my lap. and we scroll through the "Kitty Pictures". He has great fun looking at the many Cats and comparing the ones in the pics to the 4 that live in his house. (Emmet, Benny, Grayson & Zelda) This really makes his day, and it is a great way to spend time with him in the mornings while we let Grandma sleep in a bit longer. ?
  24. What David says. Nice, but beyond my budget.
