Amen on updating the tracks.
-
Wow! That is a Masterpiece. Were did you get the ROPS, Tracks and Grille? Moluminum?
-
Nice Detective Work, Stef! I know that Whale Tail Spoiler made it into the Hardtop Olds kit that was just released.
-
Should`nt this be out now?

I'm thinking it was First Quarter 2023, but I could be wrong. -
Now that you mention it, I remember the comments about the Streaker needing a chassis that is no longer used.
-
Here are my guesses and reasons for them. Top Five Pics. 1: '64 Olds F-85 Streaker Drag Car. (Because the tooling is fresh. Much of the Streaker is on the hanger shot to begin with.) 2: Mannix Toronado Converible. (Because I suspect, but cannot prove that "The Californian" rod and the Mannix share Chassis and engine parts) 3: '68 Mission Impossible Coronet. (Because a '68 Coronet is already verified to be coming) 4: The Thunder Charger Rod. (Because the '67 Dodge Charge was run about 5-6 years ago.) 5: The Bed Buggy. (Because this had been rumored to be a future kit several years ago) The Wild Cards.... MPC Mail Truck. (Because a Beautifully Restored Model was just shown here last week) The Horse Hide Hauler. ( Because it is a '32 body on the Surf Woody Chassis, and that is recent.) The XR-6. (Because, 'Why Not')

Indeed. Going to be Killer when you get it done.

Tango & Cash, comes to mind....

Wow. What a great looking Engine!

i have 5 of these kits. The Woodie or the Sedan are the better kit to have if you want period " Speed Parts". It has the Overhead Cam Head and related Parts. The Head in the Pickup is a Winfield Head. I prefer the OHC Head, but the Woodie/Sedan kit is harder to Find Right Now. The Rest of the Speed Parts (Carbs, Manifold, Exhausts) are shared between the kits. Only the Heads are different. There is a nice 'Zoomie" exhaust on the chrome tree, that is not referenced in the instructions. I'm thinking a Fenderless pickup with the track nose, '32 Ford Wire Wheels, and Skinny Tires.

Not So Far. We are still waiting......

Bob, you can sure lay down an impressive paint job. That has to be one of the smoothest applications I have seen! You have a real talent for painting.

Great Weathering! I've seen many trucks looking like that on Farms here in the Central Valley. Straight Sheet metal, but killer surface rust. You nailed that look. -

I'd ask my Dad (He's 85) if he remembers you, but his dementia has made it impossible to get answers to those kind of questions. He was heavily involved in the Vet's Club and Veteran's Services when he was in school. Neat story, about my Dad. When he was at Chico State, they had a '62 VW Bug. Just before Christmas it died. No Compression and a 'holed' piston. My Dad bought the parts and rebuilt that 4 banger on the kitchen table in the 2 bedroom apartment they rented just off campus. And got it back in the car 2 days before We had Christmas Dinner. -
Wow! Just unbelievable Talent and Craftsmanship on this build. I'd have never thought of doing that Pro-Mod conversion to that car.

These are such Awesomely Detailed & Beautiful Builds, that words fail me. I'm stunned!

Sharp little Build! I've always wanted one of those Rods, but could never afford one. Yours will have to do for now.
