  1. Pocher kits are legendary for the sheer amounts of both parts in the kit, and time needed to build them. And, despite how well detailed they look at first glance, there is a LOT of "Model Building" involved in getting one built. Give Yourself plenty of time and join an On-Line Pocher Group ti get tips on building your exact kit. There are tricks you need to know to get a smooth build, and talking with someone who has built your Bugatti will wind up being a life saver. There are tons of Half Built Pocher Kits out there. 6 Months into assembly, you'll know why. Don't let that upset you. You can build it. But, it is journey to Completion. Best Of Luck!
  2. Yeah, I'd like one, but, I have too many projects as it is.
  3. I get a few things at Discount Stores. Plastic Containers, Sanding Sticks, Cheap Files, Small Clamps, Super Glue, Sandpaper, and other Bits&Bobs as I find them. Even a small AA Battery Powered ,motorized, Rotary Nail File. Basically a small, weak Dremel Drum Sander. I used it for a bout 5 years before it died. Pretty Good for One Dollar.
  4. Yeah, those early Monogram kits, can be quite Addicting. They fit well (most of the time) and have a Charm that the Revell kits never captured. There is a certain 'sturdiness' to them that AMT & Revell kits lack. Good Luck on your Hunt. I have the "Red Chariot" & "Yellow Jacket" kits, and would happily get more.
  5. I know it has been mentioned, but a '40 Ford Woodie Wagon would be a Hit, I think. Make it a 2'n'1 with 1950's Hop-Up parts and Two Surf Boards, and you'd be 'In Like Flynn!"
  6. Thanks, guys! Off to the 'bay to see what I can find......
  7. Well, Shoot!!! Then give us the oldest Grill that will fit the current body, and the shop truck insides.... Heck give us any Round Headlight grill that fits (mostly) and call it a Custom Piece.
  8. I believe some were molded in Black. But, I'm not the expert.
  9. Ulf, you may need to replace the rear Mags with something older. Other than that, it looks good.
  10. Anthony, that is one of the sharpest builds of the Monogram Malibu, I've ever seen. Sharp, Build.
  11. I've never shot a '55 Nomad. Are they accurate?
  12. What a neat replica of your car, Tim! It must bring back many special memories for you.
  13. Great Job! The Battle Damage is superb!
  14. Wow! What a great version of this kit. A Killer Rod, esp. in that Colour!
  15. Hey, Steve G, bring this back. Backdate the Grill, give us the workshop parts, and we'll do the rest!
  16. Hey, at least we got a wagon in 2022! The '63 Chevy. Maybe the '61 Buick or the Old Jo-Han Plymouth will come next.
  17. Any idea where to get some Wide Watanabe's to add to this kit?
  18. I would like to see Round2 give the Dodge Van, some love and create a Set with the Dodge Van, and a trailer, and something MOPAR on the trailer, even if it was not a "set" back in the day.
  19. I have built a couple of these. To my eye the wheels and tyers are both too heavy and crude, and undersized, at the same time. The Tyers really look bad to me, although I know they are supposed to have been freshly researched and tooled for this kit. They have never looked right to me. The kit goes together well, otherwise, and I quite like it. The Front IFS (?) on the Rod Version is both Heavy and clunky. The Rod Small Block has some top notch speed parts. (valve Covers and Air cleaner). Worth tracking down.
  20. Love the trailer, Tim. Looking at the two trailers ('63 Wagon & '68 Coronet) It appears to me, that the two trailers mentioned in a long ago SAE Magazine Article as being U-Haul style trailers, are both going to be on the market. Given the That the Tilt Bed ('76 Caprice) and the Two Axle (Mod Stock kit) are both out there too, we now have 4 of the 5 most common MPC/AMT trailers in fresh plastic for the first time in 45+ years! This is great!
  21. I'd be willing to bet, that a lot of Model Builders will want this kit. Round2 does their homework, on sales, and this kit is pretty sharp. Just wish it had some wider tires. The ones in the (while the same as the original kit) look too small to my eyes.
  22. Want these Wheels! 4 out of 5 Fords, around here back in the day had these Wheel Covers.
  23. Indeed! Both Lead Actors are at the Top of their Form.
