My Bird, as she looked in 2014. I was her Crew Chief in 1987-88, in Okinawa Japan. -

I love that Copper Coated Log, he is leaning against. I did not know they had trees on the moon. -
Monogram Jeep CJ7 wheels
stavanzer replied to GeeBee's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
As a Former CJ-7 Owner, those are the wheels I'd use on a "7" with Steelies. -

I wish somebody could save those pics in this thread. Or Casey could get them for his site. They clearly show exactly what is in that kit.

I would think not. However, I would think that the Astre/Vega Body shown in that box may never be seen again. It looks like Round2 is working from a clean slate.

1:1 56 Ford gasser
stavanzer replied to Johnt671's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That Caddy Air Cleaner is in the Revell Boyd's Eldorod that is on the shelf at Hobby Lobby right now. Should be an easy find. But that is $20.00 for just the one part. Resin might be cheaper. -
Without Wheels to fit them, those tires are useless. Try Again, Kats.

Thanks, Casey.

Lindberg 1/25 Dodge L-700 & IMC Trailers
stavanzer replied to jeffb's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yeah, but I want that kit. I've never had it. Now, if they'd just give us the tanker. -
I wonder if it comes with the Coke Machine? (or the Girl!!)

Dang, I bought the last issue, the "Superwagon" Now, I may need one of these, if only for the boards and decals. It is re-releases like this one that open my wallet, and keep Round2 in business. Way to go, Kats!

1966 Ford F250 Service Truck
stavanzer replied to Chuck Most's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
I've driven trucks like this. 3/4 ton with the 6. Old, slow and beat up, they soldiered on into the early 2000's. Even now, I still see a few on the road, and more sitting forgotten in the side yards and back lots of farms and oil companies around town. In many ways this build represents the "Real American Truck". Purchased with no options and the baseline motor, thrashed from the first day, they worked & worked until they just flat wore out. These are the "Invisible Trucks". Great Tribute, Chuck! -
Okay, I'm in on the Vega. That makes 5 of us. It looks better than the Pinto to my eye, anyways.

On April 1st, right, John?
-
I wonder what these trailers are going to be?
-
And, I'm still waiting for Squad 51. But that show got canceled pretty fast so maybe there wasn't enough time to bring a kit out.
-
Great Build. Will you be building the Vega to display with it?

You can get anything you want, at Alice's.........
