  1. Just starting a new thread just for the upcoming '63 Impala. I am really wondering What parts will be in the box. AS most know, the engine was re-tooled back in the 80's/90's to a simplified version, and some of the extra parts vanished. I wonder what parts Round2 will be able to salvage. The Intake Manifold for the Fuel Injection option has somehow migrated to the '64 Impala tool. However the Stacks for said system remain on the '63 Chrome tree. I hope that somehow Round2 can get all the parts back in the same box for the '63. I hope also that we can get two sets of tires, in addition to the improved decal sheet that always accompanies these updated kits. I've included scans of the directions from both an older version of the kit, and what I believe was the most recent re-issue. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/1961-1970/amt-1963-chevrolet-2/?view=roll#1 https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/1961-1970/amt-1963-chevrolet-1/?view=roll#1 I want this kit.
  2. Ben, I don't remember. Let me dig mine out and check it.
  3. So, should I build mine, or keep it as a collectible?
  4. I had one of these kits. I finally traded to to a fellow club member who wanted it more than I did. Your build looks beautiful.
  5. I have this kit. I have never seen another.
  6. Well, I'm Halfway there then. It is Red/Red, not Red/Blue, but I'll figure something out then.
  7. Isn't there an all red Twinsonic on the Datsun Monster Truck that Round2 had out in 2016?
  8. My Matador Race Car has the Stock Grill in it. I can see where it shares some parts with the stock kit. It would be nice to have it back as the Street Car.
  9. Craig, your build looks great so far. Keep at it.
  10. Craig, the Uptop from the Dukes Jeep will NOT fit the Hogan's Heros Jeep. Only the Jeeps with the CJ-5/CJ-7 Nose.
  11. Both of My Daisy Duke Jeeps have the uptop, but they are both older kits. I'm not sure if all of the "Dukes" Jeeps have an uptop.
  12. That Colour is perfect. That is what I remember them looking like when they were new.
  13. That Chassis is Sweet! Wheels are perfect for it.
  14. Been There, Done That, Stepped on the Fuselage as it fell off the paint stand. Airfix 1/48 ME-109G Wings and stabilizers all nice and Square(for once) I just finished spraying underside in HellBlau,, had a nice clean coat. As I turned around to Set the paint down, my shirttail caught the edge of my paint stand. Down the whole thing goes! I set the paint down, and move to get the plane and it's stand. I trip on the legs of the sawhorse that I set my paint stand on, and crush the kit under my Size 13's. Argh. I never have started another ME-109G kit.
  15. Adam, I had you in mind, my friend. Heck, I may wind up with a Pinto myself, if they ever make it to Hobby Lobby. The Brat is a "Must-Have" for me, though. I hope it gets two sets of tires.......
  16. What a Rad Rod! The Colour is perfect.
  17. More Updates, on these please? They look too nice to be forgotten.
  18. Oooh! I'm glad I found this thread. Great Comparo Pics!
  19. Great work, so far. Always need more TROG cars.
  20. The exact boxing you have, has a lot of older parts in it. Stuff that had not been in the kit for years. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened mine. You build looks good.
  21. How is the detail on the ICM Intake and Carb?
  22. Those Dry Transfers are perfect on Flat Black Primer. There are some great Bucket Seats in the AMT 1907 Thomas Flyer kit. I've got spares if you want some.
  23. So, any progress on this?. I really like what you have done so far.
  24. Looking Great! I like the Red.
