  1. Dang, Steve! That is one Sharp ride. I wonder if I can use one kit for both songs? I really like that car. Got any more pics of it?
  2. Gabe, I checked Drag City before I tried Harts Parts. There may be other who re-cast it too. Harts was just the first I found.
  3. Hart's Parts Resin has one. https://hartspartsresin.com/product/johan-chrysler-cross-ram-intake/ But, it looks like it won't fit, so............. Back to the Lindberg Cross Ram.
  4. Thanks! It is a very neat truck.
  5. Drat. So I need a resin copy of the Ram Tubes from the Johan kit. Well, I'll start looking for some.
  6. Any more pics of the Blue / Orange Gulf Tanker? Just what is IT anyway?
  7. http://modelingmadness.com/scott/cars/previews/01013.htm Kit review of the Buick "LeSabre" Show car Tiny Kit. Looks like a Cereal Box Prize. (which it may have been for all I know.)
  8. One or Two sets of Tires? Any optional wheels or other parts?
  9. Thanks for the information and pictures! Looks like I can source the Max Wedge 413 from the Lindberg '64 kits. Is there any way of knowing whether I should use the Sd or HT body? MCW offers both. Thanks, Alan
  10. Those Tires and Wheels are almost worth the price of the kit. I'll happily buy them if you cast the Wheel/tire sets.
  11. After listening to this song for years, I'm motivated to Build the 413 Super Stock. Research tells me that it is a 1962 Dodge Dart. MCW Sells Resin '62 Dart Bodies. But, do I want a HardTop or 2Door Sedan? And, how good are MCW bodies? Lastly, did the 1962 Super Stock 413 Have the Long Ram Tubes, or the smaller Ram Induction Side by Side manifold? Thanks for the help. Alan
  12. There is a Model Club in Bakersfield CA that meets the first Saturday of every month. We'd be very happy to have you stop by. PM me for Location and meeting times. P.S. Anybody in the Central Valley or near Bakersfield is invited
  13. Looking Forward to this build. Keep us updated.
  14. Wow! Sharp Build. That looks exactly like I remember the new trucks looking back then.
  15. I'm glad to see the Sonoma, but like Luc, I would have chosen the S-10 as well. Good to see any of these kits though.
  16. I was just looking at my only copy of this kit last night. It is the "Xander Cage" Version from the XXX Movie. Has the goofy Hood Scoop, and odd Dash with all the little chrome instrument pods in it. The chrome wheels are the 5 spokers that were tooled for the movie car as well. They are (IMHO) lousy, with solid spokes and poor detail. I hope the original Chrome Tree gets back in the kit. It has softly detailed Pontiac rims, and some decent Vector (Dukes of Hazard) style rims instead. The kit hoods all fit badly. Too wide at the hinges. I hope the Kats, sweat the details on this kit, and get the correct seats, rear axle, and options back in the box. Strangely, my XXX kit still has the optional spoiler in the kit, that is shown on the original instruction sheet. I've not seen that before. I am betting that the Christmas Tree and Timing Lights are back in the kit. too, since the car is pictured at a Drag Strip. After looking at the plastic, I have to say that my opinion of this kit has changed. It has gone up. It looks better than I remembered, and except for a really awful fitment of the engine and transmission, looks like it might make a nice shelf model.
  17. So, how goes the restoration, Peter? Be nice to see what you have once they have been cleaned up.
  18. Beautiful Crawler! I've an old TD-9 and these machines are a real different experience from anything else. Yours looks perfect. Just the right amount of weathering. I really like the Fuel Stain, as those are just impossible to keep up with when you are working.
  19. It may be in this one too, Chris.I have about 3opf these kits and two have the Christmas Tree in them.
  20. Yeah, adding Redline Tires and New Decals to this kit are not going to improve it. I just hope the Seats, Dash, and Drivetrain bits are all matched to the '67 GTO. No '72 Parts or other Misc Bits.
  21. My guess, is that the GMC will be a straight re-issue with New Decals.
