  1. Is that an AirTrax Kit, or a 3D printed one? AMT/Round2 should too up one of these!
  2. The little helicopter that Ray Kurn built. Not to take away from Ray's fabulous build, but I found another build of it, with some History. http://modelingmadness.com/review/w1/austrian/fosterpkz.htm Neat Thing.
  3. I just stumbled on this. July 18th 2020. Planes of Fame Air museum in Chino Ca. https://planesoffame.org/events-calendar/The-Incredible-True-Story-of-Wrong-Way-Corrigan Wrong Way Corrigan's, Curtis Robin Airplane is now a part of the museum. There will be a special presentation on the 18th of July. This is going on my calendar, and I intend to go. I've been a fan of "Wrong Way" since I was about 11 years old. It will be awesome to see his plane in person. More About Corrigan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Corrigan A great story! I've seen (poor) video of the 1988 engine run.
  4. Amen, Snake! You took the words from my mouth.
  5. I really like Snake's idea. At least this has the one piece chassis. It will make it loads easier to build. What ever my misgivings about Price, Tires, Decals, ect., I'll be buying at least a couple of them to build Box Stock. I really like this kind of car. Maybe the other bodies from this series will eventually get released as well.
  6. Thanks, Steve!
  7. The LHS and Hobby Lobby will both sell this kit at the full street price, Mark. Retail will not discount the final price just because Round2 cheaps out on the product in the box, sadly. Can we at least get Printed Tires and a better decals, since it's gonna cost as much as a Better detailed kit?
  8. Steve. Was it a Canadian Car? If so, that might explain the 454. Other than that, I'm stumped.
  9. Heck Yea! Great news, Tim. Round2 for the Win on this one! I'll be buying these kits.
  10. I hope they choose better Box Art for it.
  11. Awesome!! I'll be wantin' some O' These!
  12. That tooling was updated every year up to 1976. That is where it is today. It still has a (not correct) for '76 Big Block motor in the kit. Beautiful Build.
  13. This was my first car. 1953 Dodge M-43 Ambulance. I stole this photo from the net, but mine was a similar colour and condition. even had the winch and a 12' A Frame welded to the front bumper. I paid $600.00 for it in 1980.
  14. The Colour is perfect! A great semi-TROG build
  15. Wow, this build would look right at home on the "Arts Mechanica" webpage.
  16. Great Bug!
  17. Beauty of a build. The Decal choice is excellent.
  18. What a perfect build. The Colour is perfect and the stance is spot on. As the others have said, right out of the Rodder's Journal.
  19. Latest rumors about the Moebius kit, IIRC, was that the new owners(Pegasus Hobby), are aware of the of the work, but are still busy with the complications of the purchase, so it may be sometime before anything gets done. All I know is what I read here, so I could be completely wrong. Since the Test Shot was a 3D printed piece as far as I know, the "Kit" exists only as CAD files right now. I suspect that since some work was done on the project, it may see the light of day, at some undetermined future date. However, as well all know, translating 3D files to completed tooling is an expensive process, fraught with small roadblocks. It is my belief (and only MY belief, unsupported by any inside knowledge) that 'someday' we may see this kit. However there is a Metric Ton of money and work that will be needed to make it happen, and that things change with Model Companies all the time. So, Pegasus Hobby owns Moebius, and Moebius did the CAD work. That is all that is definitive at this time.
  20. Nice Idea, Tom. I do like your choice of colour.
  21. Good to see you coming back to it, Joe. A few things have changed. Most have not. If you like old AMT Kits, Round2 has re-popped many that have not been seen in 20+ years.
  22. I'm not sure if there was ever an Isuzu 4 banger kitted for anything. That's what you would need for a true stock build. But, the Chevy V-8 was such a popular swap, that is not really wrong to have that as the only option.
  23. Some More Information on this build. I found some old notes, and I have Dave Lindsay's name attached to the build in some way. Maybe the build was in Socal, at some contest on the LeftCoast?
