  1. The Roof Rack is supposed to be newly tooled. And I like Green Glass.
  2. Thanks, Snake. Have to see how I feel when I see it on the shelf at H/L then.
  3. That is an old Pyro kit. It was motorized 50 years ago. That accounts for some of the odd shapes and sizes. It was more toy than scale model. Beautiful Build.
  4. I have the MPC Convertible. I don't think it is a BAD kit, as it is indeed sort of Camaro shaped. But the Engine and Wheels in mine are blobs, and the MPC 1980's Chrome is way, way too thick, so that the wheels and other parts are soft, shiny shapes. This new one, might be better in some ways, but the Body has been dumped on by folks who know a whole bunch more about Camaros than I do. If it has stock, custom tires & Slicks, (Total 10 tires), I'll buy a set of ten tires, and a new decal sheet, and get a free box of extra, possibly Camaro shaped parts. If there are only 4 or 6 tires, I have enough parts kits already........
  5. I think so. Be nice to have that kit back.
  6. Part 71 looks too big for a battry. Notice the Engine Lowers insert and the fact that the Engine is still the same simplified tool from before. The Heads and Intake are a one piece casting. Looks like you need the Round2 '64 if you want a good engine. Only 4 tires, as well. But, the decals look good.
  7. I'm glad to see the revised kit coming now from Round2. I'll br waiting to see how the Taillight, Firewall, Radiator, and other parts are done. Iy would be nice to see the 409 F.I Manifold back as well.
  8. Yes, Please? This is how trouble starts. Baseless Rumors that soon become "Facts".
  9. Boy, I wish Revell would tool up a Long Bed 3/4 Ton version of their F-1. I'd be in for more than a couple.
  10. Thanks for the Chart, F-J.
  11. Chris has built it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrztFuCAl78
  12. Man, the Welly looks a lot nicer than the Greenlight. Especially the wheels.
  13. Urk! What an Ugly Car. Even by today's Aero-Blob Design Language, that thing is a pile. Of course the kit will fit nicely because, Tamiya, but I agree. I wish the tooling dollars(Yen) had been invested in something better. (An FJ-40 maybe).
  14. I like it. Note how well the Daytona nose fits the Elky.
  15. My only hope for the 88" Rover is that the tooling MIGHT have been in the batch of old Revell/Monogram tooling that Atlantis Model bought. But, there has been no word from Atlantis on exactly what they have so, I'm not holding my breath waiting for it to come back. I' d assume that the tool is gone, as many have speculated, and that we will never see the kit back again. So, if you really want one, pony up for it, or do without.
  16. Tom. Can you get a close up pic of the Dog Dish Caps in your kit? I'd really like to see what the look like. TIA Alan
  17. Thank You. Now, I know what those are! Odd that they should live on in a semi-forgotten trailer kit, of all places.
  18. Dang, That is a great looking car, Gaute! Now show us the Model!! I really like the build. You are correct, these old Monogram kits DO build nicely. Yours proves that it can be a great looking kit, even if it does have some issues.
  19. Great Build. I can hear it now. Your weathering job is great.
  20. Great work so far. The Fender changes really help lighten the look of the front end.
  21. Pad Printed Tires, Steelies, & New Decals. I'll get one, at least. You can never have enough Model T Ford Kits.
  22. Would be really great if it had the Snowboard and Boots in the box............................
  23. Looks Crusty. Which is exactly how a tank Should look! Well done
