I've never heard of the song. I have now! Cool Lyrics. Your Mock Up looks really nice. I agree about older window Mags and the narrow piecrust slicks. The engine seem a good choice for the era. Rock On!

And , now Rite Aid has been completely discontinued as well.

The '36 Ford is coming Back! I'll just get a new one, when they hit the shelves in a few months! -
On Prewar Fords. would the Wheels from a '36-40 Ford bolt onto '32 Ford hubs? I want to put AMT '36 or '40 Rims on a Worn '32. Thank You!

Thanks, Bob! I was into skateboards in a very minor way in the early '80's, until I figured out that I could not balance on them I'm glad you still can!

I love it. I like the '73 much better than the '72. I wish it had been kitted back in the day. Good Show.

I'm Vertical, not Horizontal!

Bob, I see that the Rocket has large tires, and not those tiny Wheels that were the "Latest Thing" a while back. You don't have as much problem with pavement joints and cracks, as those smaller wheels looked to have. Nice Board. I could never ride them, as I have Inner Ear Balance Issues.

You might look at the for the Early MPC Chevy Pickups. The Deserter & Sodbuster have the later Bumper with the Turn Signals in it. The Early kits with the older grill have the good bumper. The Monogram Chevy's have the correct bumper, but they are 1/24, so the bumper might be too wide. The Older versions of the Revell Square Body have stock bumpers, but the most recent issue (the '77 Street Machine) only has a custom Bumper. I've included links to all Chris Martin's History Of Chevy Square Bodies from Revell, MPC, and Monogram. It will at least give you box art photos to hunt for kits that have the correct bumpers. https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/monogram_squarebody https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/mpc_squarebody https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/revell_squarebody Hope this helps.

Excellent Build. A Good Builder is a Good Builder, regardless of the subject. You nailed this. Good Show.

I agree on the Grey Primer. Your engine detailing skills are great.

I can see why the lack of Ho-Ho's was an issue.

You know, at my age (62) I am the exact target market for Vintage Packaging. But, I could care less. Vintage Boxart is not a Sales Point for me. Vintage Plastic, New Decals, New Tires? Bring them on. That's what I want. I am glad that Vintage Boxart seems to "move the metal", but I wish they would not make it such a big deal. Guys , you've been doing this since 2008. We all know what your plan is. We like it, but Man, tone it down sometimes, eh?

I really Like It! Good Show.

Glad to see you here, Mal! You will like it here. Really want to see you '79 Monte Carlo. -
All, Part of the Plan, my friend. How soon before we get the first deaths from somebody how was told not get a screening (to save money, the only reason this is being rolled out) who finally goes to their Doctor and finds out that "We could have saved you, if we only caught it in time" Of course the ugly reality, is that deceased patients, stop costing money......

Ford Pro Stock or Pro Street Kits?
stavanzer replied to PHPaul's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I'd look at the Round2/AMT '69 Galaxie and the '67 Mustang AWB/Street Freak. Both have Big (427?) engines, and some nice wheels. The May not be ProStock but could be a good parts source. -

Since it is confirmed that the Tudor, Vicky & Phaeton, share the same fenders and tooling, I wonder if we might get a Phaeton in 2 or 3 years. I also hope that the Tudor, makes it into the permanent rotation at Hobby Lobby. One of those kits like the Ford F-350, '69 Camaro, & '63 Vette that seem never to be out of stock at H.L. Lastly, I hope the sales on this '32, encourage Round2 to drag the Coupe/Roadster kits back into production. -
AI is one last Gigantic Tech Bro Scam, before the whole business crashes. I'm not saying there will be no AI, and that it cannot do some things, but so far all it can really do is write barely usable code, and provide emotional support for two generations of emotionally damaged young people. It makes things up, it hides it's own malfeasance, and lies when directly questioned. It was, and always has been a very bad idea, but folks who's belief in Technology is unshakeable, cannot be made to see how much damage AI can do. So, in their blindness they press on, lying to both themselves and us about what a Wonderful Thing AI is, and what Wonderful Things it can do.
