  1. Hey all. First time posting a build. Revell 48 ford convertible. Fade always, grill/surround & bumpers from the custom coupe. Wheels/tires are modelhaus units. Exhaust tips are flared aluminum tubing, and the windshield was cut to fit from a bulk package of razor blades. Followed Tim Boyd's Recent SA article for better finishes. Best black paint job I've ever accomplished. Not perfect, but it came out pretty good I thought.
  2. I picked this kit up for cheap on Amazon. I think it was a special run for a convention, but I'm not sure.
  3. Just stumbled across this. Staying 'til the end. So cool.
  4. What's better that's big ol' 60's caddy? Looks great? Love the paint.
  5. Man that thing is kool.
  6. It's ready to rumble. Really dig this.
  7. Both look great.
  8. Great job on this. That vinyl top looks perfect.
  9. Yordan, I'm sure I speak for many when I say I've been waiting a long time for an update. I love this build. The attention to detail and your innovative ways are truly inspiring. If I may offer a suggestion. The human element needs to be represented. Subtle hints would be best. A rusty no hunting sign with barbed wire, a broken bottle, or something of this nature could only enhance an already impressive diorama. So I beg, please give us an update.
  10. I remember buying this when first released. IIRC, I got it half way assembled and put it away. After I left home, Mom figured I didn't need toys anymore and dumped this and abunch of other kits. Wish I he'd me back.
  11. Hah! Love this, well done.
  12. 65 Riv is one of my all time favorite. I'm watching, (and learning.)
  13. Looks great! I'm inspired to pull out my kit.

That paint looks flawless. Did you use a polishing kit? Beautiful build
  15. This is just stunning. Great attention to detail, wonderful build.
  16. Wow, I like this a lot. Gotta pick one up before they're gone. What paint did you use?
  17. Revell 67 coupe. It's on my bench right now.
  18. Another one from AZ. This one outside of the Grand canyon.
  19. Saw these when in Winslow Arizona in September. And, yes, I stood on the corner
  20. Wow, this is really nice. Everything looks perfect. nice paint.
  21. Two of many. 37 sedan, just kinda lost interest at the time, and my attempt improving the wagon rod. Put the chassis in the wrong box and haven't found it since. Both will be finished someday.
