Absolutely Perfect, I too come here to learn and more. I'm happy with every kit that I buy, why, I read the box I read the reviews and I am on this forum that I get a tremendous amount of information from. Also being a modeler I usually will add or fix any kit that is not up to today's standards and to me that's half the fun of it. It seems like most of us are on the same page here. Thanks. Jeff

This is nice. The chassis fits and looks great under the body. I will love watching this one come together. Thanks. Jeff

38 out of 40 and I am very surprised that I got that many right. I pretty much know what's what but plain and simple I'm not a mechanic. That was exellent stuff and thanks for posting it. Jeff

Speaking of News, Any updates on the Moebius 1959 Dodge
louie replied to gtx6970's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
unclescott58, You said it all perfectly. I can't wait to have this kit back. Unfortunately, I have never had one but I know exactly what to expect and being a model car builder if I think that the car needs anything else I will add it as I am building it with no problems and no complaints because to me that's what model building is all about, building it the way that you want it and enjoying the heck out of it. And trust me, I enjoy ALL of them especially the 66 Mustang that is on another thread here. The less they have the more I'll give it and absolutely love it because I'm having fun. I think I'll buy 3. Thank you. Jeff -
I'm glad to hear from you that you are hooked on cars now because you did one fantastic job building that beauty. Really nice build, very, very clean. Wish my first or second build turned out that nice. Thanks for sharing this. Jeff

I have read this thread with great interest and I am by far Not the best modeler out there but I have built this kit a couple of times and yes it's not the greatest kit but ( isn't there always a 'but ') it's not to bad either. I absolutely stink at building but the last time I built this kit it came out pretty good if I do say so. Some patience a little finesse and you've got yourself a really nice model of a 66 mustang. Actually, now that I think about it, I absolutely love this model and I think I will get myself a couple more. Thanks. Jeff

and that would be me. Thanks for posting this one ,first time seeing it for me and I found it absolutely amazing. Again, Thank you. Jeff

Buying kits at swap meets
louie replied to lordairgtar's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks Howard, I think that you explained it perfectly. My hat is off to all of you who bring us these kits. I have never been to a swap meet but I have been to a flea market so I imagine that it is basically the same atmosphere as in what it takes to get set up and selling and it always to me looked like a lot of work, time and effort so I definitely agree with what you have said about what goes into the business side of the hobby. Without you guys and gals putting in a lot of your time, money and effort this wonderful hobby of ours would be a lot smaller so I Thank all of you. Jeff -
What a great kit ( re builder ). The color is great and I agree with you about the hood. Thanks. Jeff

Modelhaus website shut down ( temporary )
louie replied to louie's topic in Links to Aftermarket Suppliers
So true. I actually have never purchased anything from the Modelhaus. I was going to for the first time put an order in for a car that I have wanted to build for a while and figured now was a good time to do it and that is when I saw that there website was down. I only wanted 1 ,no more no less just to build when it arrived. I have seen on this site many people saying that they will be placing orders that will last them a lifetime ( really great for the rest of us ) but then again thank God it's a free country. Still, I agree with your statement 100 %. We will just have to wait and see what happens when and if they reopen. They do say that they will be reopening and I believe that 1000 % . Thank you. Jeff
