  11. I thought that or say that I heard Dave Burkett of Model King had the missing pieces re-tooled for the 59 Imperial kit? Resurrecting The Imperial. Maybe we will see it again soon. Thanks. Jeff
  12. you did an excellent job doing Finnegan's car. I like it and keep up the great work. Good to see that you know what his car looks like as a lot of so called ( car nuts ) have never even heard of him or the car. But I see that you as well as me read real car magazine's and know what the 1/1 car is and looks like cause you duplicated it perfect. Thank you. Jeff

  15. Yes, yes, yes. Nice. nice. nice. What a good looking car and a definite YES on the wheels. Thanks. Jeff
  16. Good stuff. I always like to see a certain year kit or car kit changed into another year. Taking a 71 and making a 72 out of it ( way cool ) at least that is what I think. I always wanted to take the amt 69 chevelle kit and back date it to a 68. Are the Missing Link bumpers 72 also how much different are the 71 bumpers compared to the 72? I'm just curious. Please keep us posted on your progress and Thank you. Jeff
  17. Thanks Dave, I appreciate that you take the time to update us on your progress with the kits. I can't wait for this one ( very, very happy ) and then some. Jeff

  19. More to come, sounds good to me. I can't wait to see more of this and all the others. I have always wanted to get some stuff from MCW but money is always tight. His prices are very reasonable so maybe some day, but until then the next best thing is to follow this post. Thanks and I can't wait to see more. Jeff
  20. NOW That's Nice. Excellent job on those wheels, also the engine looks terrific too.I'm a product of the 80ies so I tend to really lean towards the Fox Body Mustang and the 3rd generation Camaro. I got a kick out of the post above ( Ice Ice Baby ) hahaha . Oh the memories from back in the day. Okay, keep up the good work and thank you for sharing this. Jeff
  21. My spare bedroom is the hobby room and also have a room in the basement that I use too. I have a dust collecter with filters that works great when I sand parts and car bodies also works great for the paint fumes. That stuff is in the basement room. I do my fine detail and end of project work in the spare bedroom. One thing that I've been noticing lately about my hobby area is it seems to be getting smaller and smaller and I haven't been accumulating anything Xtra. Alright. Thanks everyone. Jeff
  22. I definitely agree with you about this kit. So many great parts to use and kitbash with. Also just an awesome kit to build. I can remember reading about Matt Hayes back in the 80ies in Hot Rod and Car Craft magazines. Thanks for sharing this with us and I'll definitely be watching you along the way. Thank you. Jeff
  23. I've been in the flooring trade for over 30 years and their is a million different types of flooring out there. If you plan on doing it yourself you should look into the Flouting Floor system. Really easy to do yourself. The wood Floor itself comes in various colors and shades from dark to light colors and will hide the dirt but show up all those little model parts pretty good. Also, any flouting floor that I have put down always had a really good warranty from the factory and all had a (no care )Finnish on them meaning no waxing, no nothing. To start, lay down the padding, start the first row making sure that it is straight then the pieces of the flooring just snap together, cutting the ends to fit and your done. Hope this helps you out. Jeff
  24. To me it's great history and memory's. I would love to see more photos of stuff related to this subject. Where I grew up we didn't have a hobby shop or at least not one close but we had a Woolworth 's and they had a pretty decent hobby section. Thanks for posting the pictures I really appreciate it. Jeff
