  1. PM sent with answer.
  2. Thanks for all the kind comments. I will have to look into that, I have the Tracy kit also. And I recently bought the louvered hood/trunk kit from Ed Fluck with hopes to build them into another 5 window.
  3. What do you do with your kits boxes after you build the kit. I'm talking recent releases, not vintage boxes with cool artwork. Save the box or throw it in the recycling bin? I have several that I use to store spare parts in, but I can only use so many for that. I wish I had a good place to make the tops into wall art. Currently have an empty 36 ford 5window, a 41 willys SWC, and a AWB Mustang "dick brannan's Bronco".
  4. Ok, this 36 is all but done. I need to install the horn grills and taillights still. Not sure why, but this kit has fought me all the way. I think it took three purple baths, and I am still not completely happy with it. Also having issues with paint chipping, all the way to plastic like the primer didn't adhere properly. Probably be a while before I paint anything black too. This was two black cars in a row, paint shows every flaw.
  5. Incredible work you are doing with this kit. I built it a few months ago, what a poor kit. Swore i would never build another on of them. But for some reason I sure like how it displays on my shelf which tempts me to build another.
  6. Looking great Greg, unfortunately it is probably going to make my next build look terrible.
  7. I sure like where this build is headed.
  8. Hmmm, I have that kit. Was considering letting it go at the next local swap meet. After seeing these pics, I might have to build it.
  9. Hmmm, I like it. Never really thought about Z'ing and channeling a Speedwagon.
  10. My eyes hurt from looking at that poor car, but I found it.
  11. Interesting subject. Might even be rarer than last weeks subject. Answer submitted.
  12. I like it. I tried to do that two tone paint about 15 years ago on this same kit. Simply could not make it work on the hood louvers. Well done.
  13. I can't seem to find this silver one either, but I did find enough that I am submitting an answer. Congratulations Bill, I think you might have found an image that doesn't exist on Google.
  14. Out of curiosity, Where does the Lindberg 34 Roadster Pickup fall into this. Is it the same chassis tooling with a roadster cab? I have several of the closed cab versions, but have never had a roadster version. If it is all different tooling, is it a decent kit?
  15. Does anybody have box top pictures of all the different version of the 34 over the years? Maybe a chronological picture history. I have seen a couple threads like this with details. One was for the 70's Dodge trucks and another for the 70 Chev/GMC trucks.
  16. Very cool build.
  17. I've been a fan of this manufacturer for a long time. Knew it as soon as I saw the picture, just had to find the correct year. But as GTJUNIOR said, this one may be difficult for some. PM sent.
  18. I'm close to the same way Greg, I could put it back in the box for a later build, but I just can't put a model in the trash. Just can't do it. On a better note, I hope to have this car clear coated this weekend.
  19. Funny, I found two of these in my stash recently that I have had since the early 90's. Both un-built and in there Tamiya boxes. Good luck on the rebuild.
  20. Well, I got this car out of the purple pond a few weeks ago and thought I had it all painted and ready for clear coat. I had it all taped up to spray the "silver", and thought it was looking great. While peeling my tape off, I dropped it on a concrete floor. Made a large chip in the black paint and cracked the glue line loose part way around where the top glues to the body. I re-glued it and gave it a little touch up paint where it chipped, will see if I can wet sand it out. Losing motivation with this one pretty fast though. It might need to go back in the box for a few years. Pics, when I have some positive progress.
  21. Ace, That car was not easy to find. Kinda an oddball. I like it.
  22. Ken, You certainly are not making this very easy on us the last few weeks. Answer submitted, Found a few really cool web pages in my searches for this.
