  7. Another beauty!...well done!!!
  8. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
  9. Okay, everyone, here is my first update.....First i pre-assembled all the bits i could, rough sanded, and threw into the plating stripper (Bleech White). I assembled as much of the body as i could get away with now, but since the instructions arent precise, i will be using my canopy glue to assemble the whole kit, so that i can accurately dig-in, and get things built my way...
  10. I still love it!, and i too am a Harry Potter fan!!
  11. OUTSTANDING job sofar!!!
  12. Not only do you excel in imagination, and attention to detail, you know how to put it all together so that it flows, and looks pleasing to the eye!!!!
  13. You're welcome!
  14. Thats deffinitely a unique car/kit.....i've heard horror stories of the warpage in that kit. There is a Sand dragon, Out house, and a Bathtube in the same series.
  15. Thanks, bud!, i will try not to disappoint...lol
  16. Thanks!, its nice to have you along!...i plan on posting an update later today!
  17. That seems to be the only built one that i can find photos of. It looks like a decent build, and yes, you are right, those scoops are BAD, but the carbs are too, lol. I will replace the carbs, and SB my own scoops.
  18. Its a suprisingly nice kit, and all the bits fit VERY well....once you figure out where they go....the instructions arent very useful, lol...that bathtub car looks like a fun build!
  19. Yes he is, Trevor....thanks for following!!
  20. For sure theres a TON of omitted things, but fortunately, i rarely build things 100% replica...this will be no exception. The plastic is good, and the parts are suprisingly klean for a 1968 kit. The instructions are a whole different thing -the most vague i have ever seen!
  21. LOL....i cant help it!!....DARN IT!!
  22. Hey, everyone!, a good friend of mine from England sent me this kit as a suprise. Its been on my Grail list for a while now.....lets see what i can do with it...
  23. Thanks, bud!
  24. Okay, everyone, HUGE goof-up here!!!...as Aoshima likes to do with several of their kits, Fujimi too, i was designing this hood to look like it could really open, but there is NO freaking way it could do this the way i mounted them....good thing its only temporary at this point. Originally i only planned on old school props, but for some stupid reason i tried to make struts out of them. They are going back to being plain old props. For those of you that know me, I'm not too comfortable with tiny functional parts. To me, its a huge risk of breakage somewhere down the road, and many working hinges out there just dont look realistic enough for me. Aoshima has started a new way of having things open, which i like alot! it gives me both an opening bit to show detail, but allows me to do better, more realistic parts. That being said, even though mine look functional, they would NEVER work the way i have them set up....thank, God its only mounted for testing!!...He was looking out for me!!
