  1. Looks pretty rough, but you can do it...looking forward to it!
  2. Hey, everyone! Had a great week of progress... -Photo 1&2; It took quite a while to remove all that bulky, brittle ground effects, and weird chin spoiler. -Photo 3; I added temporary? rear hood supports, and canopy glued that bugger down so that i can blend it into the rest of the body properly. -Photo 4; I used strips of angle styrene to make the door sill rockers. I also needed to notch them out to accept the roll bar. -Photo 5; Just a good overall view. The hoods crossmember is waaay stronger, and i smoothed out the hood, and filled in the wing holes. -Photo 6; This seam here splits the rear firewall/rear assembly from the rest of the chassis. It is temporarily tacked ito place while i do more work. -Photo 7; These axel tubes are only being used for ride height, and close tire alignment in wheel openings. -Photo 8; Seat change again!...Countach seats look better for now, lol. Starting to cut open the engine access panel in the firewall. The cover, and center column work is next. -Photo 9; Killer ride height, but as you can see, the tires need to move forward a tad to center. My rear suspension assembly will be adjustable to fix it. -Photo 10; This view of a Pantera is one of THE beastiest looks of any car ever. As you can see, i used thin strip styrene as a gap filler accross the horizontal of the hood lip?. -Photo 11; The removal of all detail leaves me a clean, pure slate to create a simplified new look that shows the very unique shape of the front of this sweet car. -Photo 12; A nice overall view again. I have also decided to open the bonnet...might as well at this point, right?
  3. Cheers, Atin! Even though i'm redoing everything, it is actually fun, and picking up momentum.
  4. Thanks, Edgar....and thanks for following!
  5. Cheers, Sunny! It can be good, yes, but in my case, i felt i had to redo most of what i'd done, lol, but its gonna be waaay better this time around!
  6. Much appreciated, John! I'm getting better, thanks -i hope all is well with you!
  7. Thanks, Rich!...its good to be back.
  8. Thanks...good to hear from all of you again too!
  9. A sunny day here in Michigan this time of the year?? lol.....its looking sweet, i will be following!
  10. How many of you have resumed a build after a year, and decided you needed to change a bunch of things? That is where i started up this Pantera again. Here you go, Ray...Mondays will be my Pantera days. Photo 1; If you look back at the original framework, you will notice now that there are a few major braces missing. They just didnt fit good enough, so i will redo them...but after i build the rear suspension today. Photo 2; I couldnt get the seats i liked to fit nicely with the firewall, so i got some Diablo seats that are smaller, and allow for more room. Also, aside from having to redo the firewall, i have decided to slightly upgrade the center column, and guage cluster. Photo 3; Here are the new Diablo seats...even better that they are another tie to Lamborghini. Photo 4; I have also decided to make the doors functional. Note: Time to get cracking on this now! Thank you to everyone whose following along! -God bless!!
  11. Nice save!! I t looks great, and the color suits it better than the red. I have this kit as well, but i gotta change out the wheels, and figure out a different styled wind screen.
  12. Thanks, very much, Bud. Like many, many others, our family has been hit pretty hard with crisis after crisis, but i am trying to get back to building -i think it will be soon. This one is one of the builds on top of my list to finish first. God bless you for your words of encouragement!
