Milsbo glass door cabinet-extra shelves??
shoopdog replied to Safire6's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I too bought an IKEA cabinet and soon discovered I needed additional shelves. I had my local Hobby Lobby cut their scrap plexiglass into 30x13 sheets for $15 each. I used 5 glass bottles from HL to support the shelf, 1 in the center to support the sag. You could use whatever size supports you need for the required height. -
Just finished this old kit that I had picked up at a second hand store. There were no decals so I used some spares I had. I had no intention of using the roundels with the yellow outline but the old Bars and Stars I had split apart. Unfortunately I haven’t seen a single image of the A20 with the yellow outlined roundels. This is my eleventh warbird build and I’m loving each one. Seven more in my stash! Thanks for looking!

I’m off all prescribed meds and haven’t seen a doctor in 4+ years. I do take vitamins, zinc, magnesium, B-Complex, aspirin and Qunol Ultra CoQ10 supplement. If I was still seeing a doctor I’m sure he would still be pumping me full of meds.

I’m a young 63 and retired at 61. Had a triple bypass at 55, took all the prescribed meds for a couple of years but nothing now. I do limit my physical labor as I do get worn out quite easily. I’ve been able to control my blood pressure with my diet and my dog walks me daily for a couple of miles. I too model for 1-3 hours in the morning, pretty good stress relief, that and not going to my former job.

Very nice looking Mustang!

Recently finished this fantastic kit, those that have built it will probably agree. Paint is Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze, which is pretty close to the factory Bittersweet color. Tried to give it a day two look with the mufflers, add on speakers and slight rake. There are some amazing WIP 442’s coming up soon but I’m am happy with the results of this one, even with my Sharpie trim. “Snake sold me on the Sharpie trim”. Thanks for looking.

What clear over tire lettering decals
shoopdog replied to Steve H's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I’ve always sanded my tread then applied a coat of Future, allow to dry a day and then apply decals. Wait another day and spray with either Testors Dull Coat but recently have used Mr. Hobby matte finish. However I do try never touch the tire especially when installing wheels to avoid any cracking. -
You have done one heck of a good job with this build. Looks fantastic! I just finished the same kit and was going o post pics of it but I’m going to hold off. Again you have done a superb job. I brush paint all my individual parts too, just seems much easier.
