Finished this Pegasus 1/48 scale snap kit. Fun and quick build of a WWII classic. I decided to do mine as a North African theater fighter. Colors are Apple Barrel Classic Caramel and Nutmeg Brown airbrushed using washer fluid to thin. Also used Mr Hobby clear matte to finish it off, definitely tones it down. Thought I would add some color to my collection.

This is the last of my import kits that my son had given me for Xmas and Bday. I like these Aoshima kits as long as they don’t have springs and screws for the suspension. Finished this off with Krylon Shortcuts Hot Pink over a darker gray primer.

I was able to finish up two planes this morning. This 1/48 th scale Revell kit was very nice and went together easily. This is another kit I was able to get from Hobbylinc.com at no charge using their rewards program. Hardest part was cutting and masking all the tape for the camo pattern. Unfortunately most manufacturers don’t include the swastika for the tail fin. All paint is Tamiya rattle cans. Now I just don’t know which one to start next!

I used various decals from the quite extensive sheet to make my own fictitious fighter. I had finished this old Mini-Craft 1/16 scale Caddy back in March that a coworker had given me when I retired. He had bought and primed every parts tree in the box which made it quite a pain to scrape a clean surface to glue. He had decided it was above his skill level and gave it to me. Pretty much above mine too as I could only get the back two doors to open properly. Was never to proud of back then so I never posted any pics.The black paint is Tamiya rattle can black.

Very well done. Sterling was always one of my favorite drivers.
