  1. How cool is this !
  2. Thanks guys for the kind comments, all I could think of during final assembly was this...............
  3. Great looking truck, glad your finally coming out, lol.
  4. X2
  5. Quite impressive, after many builds I not sure I have any that look as good as your first!
  6. I started out building the drag version of this kit but by the time I finished painting the interior I decided it wasn't going to be an all out drag racer. So I ended up with a custom/drag/stock something or another. Possibly a train wreck? I followed the cut lines for the wheel wells and they look pretty silly up as high as they are on the 1/4 panels, wasn't happy with that. Paint is Tamiya TS-21 with a clear coat and I either painted or used a Sharpie for all the trim. Comments or criticism welcome.
  7. Excellent looking Mustang, inspiration for me to start on mine.
  8. Definitely never seen anything like it, nor that they were even being built and tested in that time period. Will be checking in on this. After your first two builds I think you can master this one also.
  9. WOW! Spectacular group of Thunderbolts, very, very nice!
  10. Great find!

    Alpine plus

That's one mean machine, fantastic work!
  15. Looks cool, but I don't get where the 48 Chevy comes in with Plymouth kit?
  16. Two incredible Rams, very well done. I too am partial to the two tone truck.
  17. Thanks everyone, it was definitely a pleasure to build. I was quite surprised how glossy the paint turned out with no clear or Future over it.
  18. Great conversion, thanks for sharing.
  19. Very cool! My two sons and I loved watching the Duke boys ( and Daisy).
  20. Thanks Steve, I saw your pics of the Revell Beetle you had posted and was quite impressed. Picked the Revell Beetle up today so I can compare builds and quality. Sorry I do not have any interior pics though, wasn't thinking before I installed it. Thank you!
  21. As my title says, this is my first build of a Tamiya kit. Very impressed with the quality all around as there was no flash and parts fit was excellent. My only issue was mating the chassis to the body, I was not able to align the hood hinges up to have an opening hood, but the trunk will open at least. Painted with Testors Artic Blue Metalic enamel with no clear coat. If only Tamiya produced some American muscle cars!
