  1. No prob. Will get you some pics of that big 6.4L engine today.
  2. Yes, lots of differences between the 2017-2018 truck and the 2019+ trucks. The new truck has the 8-speed transmission, where the old had a 6-speed. Fuel economy has improved, and the truck is quieter and more responsive. The headlights are so much better on the new trucks. Not just to look at, but light dispersal. Interior is hands down the best truck interior going. For me, the most comfortable seats in any truck. The instrument layout is great, and that 12" touchscreen is amazing. Like having a massive iPad in your dash. If you need some more detail shots of anything, let me know.
  3. I participate in another BRBO for sure.
  4. Just noticed, if you really want to get technical about things, the Power Wagons do NOT come from factory with Toyo Open Country tires. They are only produced with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires.
  5. I'm dragging this thread from the depths and bringing it to the top. Just finished two guitars kits. The first is a headless kit. This is from a Canadian company that shall remain nameless, and was horrible. The fret markers we're aligned well, the nut was installed wrong, none of the frets were level, the body took a ridiculous amount of work to make smooth. And to top it off, a couple of paint experiments completely failed. So finally, I just threw it together. The paint is Chevrolet Dark Torreador Red. I added a kill switch from Iron Age, and some Luminlay fret markers and side dots. After a LOT of work, it's done. It's far from perfect. but it looks okay (especially in the dark,) and actually plays well and sounds pretty good now. This second one is from Pit Bull Guitars out of Australia. An Explorer 5-string bass that I built with my boy. He's 16 and plays the drums and the bass. The Pit Bull kits are fantastic. This is our second one, and I have two more on the bench right now. The wood is almost flawless. Required very little work to make it smooth and ready for paint. The neck needed nothing at all to make it playable. We painted in GMC Storm Grey and put a matte clearcoat over it. Strings are DR Black Beauties. And here's a sneak peek at the next one. It's an Explorer 7-string. I must admit, I nailed the paint on this one. GM Summit White with a black headstock. Streaked Ebony fingerboard. For those wondering, the logos on these are my dad's signature. Jim Clark. He was the reason I got into guitar in the first place, and always encouraged everything I did with music. Bought me music, taught me about the stuff he listened to when growing up in England. Took me and my band to bars so we could actually play some shows while underaged. So when he died in March 2019 from brain cancer, I knew I was going to do something guitar-related to honour him. So now, every guitar I build will have his sig on it. even the ones I build for others. Company name I guess.
  6. You should totally build it. Yes, it has many flaws, but it does look pretty good on the shelf when done.
  7. i believe Studio 27 makes decals for the RTL and Spielfilm cars
  8. Jagermeister of course. White Martini Red Martini (never kitted) Bosch (Tamiya made one, but hard to find) Dekra RTL (never kitted) TV Spielfilm (never kitted) And if you want to get technical, the red prototype/launch car
  9. Thanks. That's how I do it as well.
  10. I constantly say that I need to make a dent in the stash before I buy more kits. Then I go buy more kits.
  11. That essentially makes this advertising, which we currently do not do. Anyway, this is being discussed behind the scenes. In the meantime, it's off to the Resin section in Industry Corner.
  12. Believe me, as the former owner of a 2018 model, I am very seriously considering making one of these my next truck. I miss that old silver beast.
  13. Not really obscure or discovered, but this is a new favourite. Was just released yesterday! Mammoth WVH - aka Wolfgang Van Halen - aka Eddie's kid. He played all of the instruments and did all of the vocals himself. Excellent song, touching video. I like that he's not trying to sound like Van Halen.
  14. Nicely done! Really like your colour choice.
  15. Those tires are a much better fit for these trucks. On the real thing, the tires don't fill the wheel wells as fully as they do on the stock kit. This one I delivered to a client a couple of weeks ago.
  16. Excellent work so far! I love these kits. Have a stack of them in the stash, and plan to eventually build all of the liveries I've found for these. I think I'm up to 6.
  17. I did just the opposite of you. I built the Canepa, now deciding if I even want to built the T600A I have. not an easy kit to assemble, because of all the issues you've mentioned. Nice job though.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me to see Tesla come up with something wacky like this. I mean, this is a company that builds Spaceballs references into their cars' programming.
  19. The fact that he's posting other people's work is throwing me off.
  20. Modern Ferraris. Wee little cars for tiny people who don't care that after 8000km, the interior will start to fall apart. THey look good from the outside though.
  21. Where did you source the CNTL decals from?
  22. Glad to see this one back!
  23. On a related note...
  24. Actually, these things are still built on the current E-Series chassis, which has been around basically unchanged since fax machines were still commonplace. Most are build on the E450 chassis, but the E350 is still available. These are still available with the 6.8L V10 gas engine, as well as the 6.2L gas engine from the F-Series Super Duties. And these vans aren't going anywhere any time soon. At work, we've started getting our 2021 E450s in, with the 16ft Transit Classik aluminum cubevan bodies. We order literally hundreds of these each year. And we have our initial orders placed for the 2022 E450, also unchanged.
  25. Works out to about $250 CDN.
