There is. But these are going to the local dealer for this particular brand of bus. I actually supply the E-series chassis to the four largest suppliers of minibuses in Canada. I currently have orders for over 200 of these things, plus some Transit and F550 chassis in various stages of production at a few different bus body builders in the US and Canada. To be fair, as soon as we brought it to their attention, they snapped to it pretty quick to get this resolved. Except for that initial response from one person, they've been pretty good. Without getting too into the nitty gritty, the ordering process to get these done sucks. I enter the initial order in one system, then I have to use a DOS based system to add the ship to location. Then I have to fill out a pdf form and email it to someone in the Scheduling department, and they have to go into the DOS system and approve the ship to location. It's a horrible system.

Correct. When complete, these will look something like this. And I could probably switch this over to the What Pleased You thread. Heard back from Ford about an hour ago. They have managed to place a hold on these and will have them rerouted successfully to where they need to go. They apologized for their error, and thanked us for bringing it to their attention. Our contact also mentioned that had the vehicles all arrived here, it would have cost almost $200k US to get them transported back to Indiana.

Agreed. The Racing White is not quite as tan/yellow as your pic above, but is also not a bright white. It would work, but if you wanted to stick with Tamiya paints, I think you'd be better of looking at some of their military paints. Lots of tans there.

We're just the opposite here. We have a ton of venues that will rent a hall to virtually any organization, yet the only model show I'm aware of is the local IPMS show. And it's held in a venue that I feel is too small. But I will attend anyway.

We're trying to get the rerouted, as they're on railcars right now. But, that is an unlikely scenario. We have someone at Ford that has admitted fault, so after going waaaayyy up the food chain, we do have a couple of people at Ford on the case now. I think what will happen is that these will get to the local railyard, get unloaded, and will then get reloaded onto a train and head back to Indiana. The client typically handles the bus build, and then bringing the finished units into Canada, so we don't need to worry about that. We just need to get these things to the bus factory in IN. If they arrive, this is what we'll be getting. Just picture it without the passenger side door or passenger seat.

I have 32 brand new 2025 Ford E-450 cutaway now in transit to me. Should be here next week. These are all sold, and customer is super excited because their previous dealer couldn't get them any chassis over the past couple of years. However, these are supposed to be dropshipped to a body build in New Paris, Indiana. Even though I received confirmation that the vehicles would be dropshipped at the vendor, all 32 of these units are coming directly here instead. Ford's response? Ooopsie. Our bad. Nothing we can do to help. So now we need to ship 32 of these things back down to Indiana. These are bare chassis Econolines with no rear cab wall, no passenger side door, and no passenger seat. Ugh.

You've already listed the Scale Model Car Podcast, which is pretty good, and is the only model car related podcast I listen to. I've tried others, and they were just so boring. Pitlane Life Lessons is pretty good. Marc Priestly used to be an F1 mechanic. Pretty smart guy. The pod isn't really about cars per se, but I like it.

Failed print over the weekend. Got a "memory error" message, and then the USB port stopped reading anything I stuck into it. Elegoo support responded super quick, and gave me a few things to try before getting into replacement parts. First is to make sure my USB sticks are formatted correctly. Which is odd, as they've always worked before. But I'll give it a try. Then they want me to open the back panel and investigate the USB port itself. Sounds like I have an evening project!

MPC strikes again. These re-pops of old MPC kits should just stop. I think the amount of work it takes to make these kits look good just sucks the fun out of building. Despite your issues, I think your build turned out pretty good.

Felt pretty good to be out walking the dog while wearing shorts. And I relocated a spider from the back door to somewhere else in the backyard. The bugs are out, so spring must be here!

I did visited the track when in Indy last year. The museum is excellent, make sure you have plenty of space for pics on your phone! Lots to see there. I figured for the $20 or whatever it cost, I might as well do the track tour. So I got to get on the bus and do a lap of the track. I enjoyed it. Did not kiss the bricks, but I did touch them. All in all, an excellent place to spend an afternoon!

I cannot wait to see the mass amounts of people/influencers that will be complaining about this over the next few days.

I really like the Santa Cruz. It's the sort of truck most people need. Most people driving trucks don't actually need a half ton or bigger. The Santa Cruz and other similar sized trucks will do most of what the typically truck driver wants: carries a few people, can pick stuff up at Home Depot or the garden center, can take the bottles in for recycling, can carry the bikes or camping gear, maybe tow a small trailer. Yeah, there will be people adamant that they need the bigger trucks, but really...they don't. I know the Maverick very well, and it's a great little truck too.

I tried the same thing a couple of years ago, with zero success. The arch in the roof was totally different on the two cabs I used, so lining things up was impossible. I've since just 3d printed a crewcab that lines up pretty closely with the dually boxes I have. I think with a little tweaking, I can reprint and get it perfect.

Season 5 of Stranger Things is due out in mid-late 2025. I would guess that Revell will wait to release these kits around the same time. As the hype machine for the new series starts to build, and excitement grows for the final season of the show, I suspect that is when Revell will start to announce and release these ST kits.

Good thing you still have the broken piece. If it was mine, and I wanted to keep it in original condition, I would glue the piece back in place, using the bare minimum of glue. The cracks would always be visible, but most probably wouldn't notice.

No, never got around to doing it. I have the files ready to go, just keep finding other things of interest. I will do so...eventually.
