  1. The box art clearly shows hubcaps, not the full wheelcovers we got in the kit.
  2. Do I sense the future possibility of the '60 Ford F 100?
  3. Very impressive work on this combo! You nailed the look of a million mile fleet truck from the golden age of trucking. Exhaust, intake and oil filters takes this IH to the next level.
  4. IMO, dechromed axle caps off the KW kits would look great glued over your rear ( red ) hubs. They are flatter and more realistic looking.
  5. Me thinks that Chevy is a little too light for a 750.
  6. Nice project. Those tall Fords came with some wild paint jobs!
  7. Great choice on doing the earlier "A" . This model represents the 1968 thru 1973 Transtar. We will show are support thru SALES!
  8. Never been a fan of the rear hubs on most AMT kits. Here is a photo of the 34K tandem.
  9. Can't find a photo of a Detroit installation, but I suppose, knowing Ford, they would have used the same air cleaners and brackets that the V6 Cummins used, to the same dual hood scoops. There both very tight fits.
  10. This might help explain. The radiator grill also had shutters for cold weather operation. Ok, I'll throw in a photo of a Custom Cab with extra heavy 6 spokes and a full build sheet for the real deal..
  11. The '61-'66 F 350 1 ton pickup used the separate styleside 9' body. This one has solid 19.5" rims. That rear axle is rated at 7200 lb, could easily carry a F100.
  12. There is a new conventional cab offering from Dan on ebay. Would be nice to have a period frame also.Pre-Order Kenworth W 825 "Needle Nose" 1/25 scale resin cab kit | eBay
  13. That would be a great future project if things work out . Both have been godsends to us. The kit would require a complete frame as well, the unique 120" wheelbase is completely different than a '65 129" 2WD frame.
  14. Now the only questions are Standard or Custom Cab, Budds or Cast Spoke?
  15. Great to see another classic being built! The GMC and haulaway both date to the early 60's. Hope this data helps.
  16. Excellent detail work on interior and Cummins diesel. Great too see more classics being built on this forum.
  17. Great to see you tackle this excellent resin offering from Dan Models. This was a very popular dump truck in its day. I'll be watching this one closely. There were 2 more diesels available, the Cummins straight 6 C160 or C180 and the Cummins V6E 195. This particular cab ( raised roof ) ran from mid '65 to '69, was replaced by the Louisville in '70.
  18. Can't wait to see that one, a ten wheeler with a CAT
  19. Nice kit. I believe there was a resin conversion kit available at one time to transform into a F7 or F 8, not sure, but it had a wider front end. When it becomes available again, I would be in the market for the Monogram kit for a donor cab.
  20. '69 F 100 and '78 D 200. Both are built the way they would have looked when new.
  21. Me too. Especially if it was a D 200 4x4 with 2 piece rims!
  22. All the GMC kits never came with an accurate racked back grill ( actually its a trim piece attached around the grill ) shown in this photo.
  23. The Challenge is a 8 yard drum, the Ertl Rex was a 10 yard. This stuff is heavy, weighs about 4000 lbs a yard.
  24. I believe we will see torsion bars pretty soon too.
