  1. I think so, it has been the same for the Syclone, and early versions of the 454SS Pickup and Impala SS sedans too IIRC.
  2. I have heard stories like that locally with R/C tracks, even though the two involved weren't exactly close. Unfortunetly, without being part of the inner circle of the accused or knowing what the investigators have found, we would just be speculating until the investigating is done and/or someone talks. If the guy was known to have pissed people off, I wouldn't totally be surprised if yet another person went mental and this time only took it out on the business and not the staff or customers. We have had to ban one customer from coming back a couple years ago for calling drunk and argueing with everybody but myself, had another guy who was associated with the Magic tournaments get kicked out and told not to come back before that by us and other places that do FNM because of his douchebag lawyer attitude! The store manager had to throw somebody out on the 26th because of his behavior in relation to a defective vehicle that he bought from us and we would have get taken care of for him.
  3. Saw it at the Woodman's in North Aurora today Harry!
  4. I'll bet that maroon/burgundy GN was probably a T-Type with replacement GN badge on the fenders. Wouldn't take much to put a sticker or molded/cast badge on a car in the dealer's body shop, the most it might take would be a couple holes drilled if they didn't use adhesive to mount those
  5. Was the building in as tired a shape that it could be considered an eyesore like that one local refered to it?
  6. I was also thinking batteries, if they had a LiPo go bad and start to burn for what ever reason, that would have easily started that kind of fire.
  7. Still not sure what it was, but I have found some interesting stuff looking so far
  8. Having worked in a hobby shop for 11 years now, I'd hate to have that job! You guys know if they carry R/C stuff there too?
  9. One building I worked in was like that, first winter we had that store I learned quick not to flip the lights on with gloves on after getting a big blue spark throwing one of the switches, then being a hobby shop would only make that worse!
  10. Wow, worst we've had is to get egged! Sadly with the way some people act, that still wouldn't surprise me one bit
  11. I think that had to be the worst summer we have had since '95 temps wise.
  12. Not sure about the rest of you Illinois guys, but this sounds like what we got in West Chicago so far.
  13. Wow, and I thought HRE wheels were expensive O_O At least with those Carbon Fiber and the HRE wheels you'll get a strong, light, and most likely good looking wheel..........and the HRE's would be made specifically for your car!
  14. Time or desire, I know I've largely lost mine.
  15. I can't think of a more fitting YouTube link right now http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbugHkuFsTg
  16. Just be careful of any Whovians driving by, especially the ones that are legitimately freaked out by these
  17. So long as they don't look like these I'll be happy
  18. Would be worth every penny! As would that, even if you had to leave the plow sitting on the ground and drag it back!
  19. Lol, that's going to be sweet!
  20. Haven't seen a lowrider like that in some time!
  21. Something just hit me about that motor....Can you imagine what kind of unholy monster that engine would be if they put in some of the modern engineering and tech like they did on the Pentastar motor that's in my 200. The Pentastar in Challenger trim is supposed to be good for 305 horse and 268 Ft/LBS out of 220 cubes, a modern version of those heads made to take advantage of the VVT and modern fuel management systems on an engine that big could be psychotically powerful
  22. Looks good so far! I'm curious though, what did you use for the injectors and rails?
  23. Could always get normal rims decaled instead
  24. So Harry's and Gregg's Mustangs are part Jaaaaaaag then?
  25. Wonder how well Carbon Fiber wheels would tolerate a Chicago winter
