  1. I saw this car in person a few years back down in Branson, one of the guys that worked for that museum has had a number of people who asked if that car was Miss Belevedere since there was a poster next to it of it at the unearthing event
  2. Can't remember what it is off hand, but I have read about those things.
  3. Unfortunately, the Maverick started on fire by the end of the show, but I still think it was the best of the three cars, I was laughing out loud on more than one occasion while watching it though
  4. I kinda had the same thoughts, I kina preferred the USTG and UKTG more so too. About the only thing I liked about the first show is that the Petty Cash Racing Cherokee (the "Petty Blue" station wagon that passed their 300ZX in the LeMon's race) had a couple way too quick cameo's and were apparently;y the ones that actually shot up the ZX afterwards too
  5. I gotta agree, beautiful!
  6. or worse yet, at the hotel overnight When Dad was still with C&NW, he was staying at a hotel where somebody left an open air T-Bucket out in the lot over night without any kind of cover...and it pooooooored When he went to get into his company truck and leave, the T-Bucket owner was trying to dry out the interior with the hotel towels
  7. Ah the wonders of photoshop, at least then no longer does a car have to die to create what can be made digitally
  8. Great looking builds, is that '34 the Revell Snapper?
  9. Yea, that thing does look and sound amazing
  10. That's some of the reason I built mine in this way...come to think of it, I've got a couple more that I never got it primer that need some attention too
  11. Joe Handley

    Citation

Lol, it's probably been built better than GM ever did on any of the 1/1 Citations too
  12. The way some of the stuff on my folks Town and Coutry was done under Dahlmer-Benz, Italian or Russian assembly could be an improvement
  13. I thought it was a pretty close clone of the turtleback T roadsters for a body and you can build the frame to suit your needs suspension wise on the 1/1 cars.
  14. That is completely insane and awesome at the same time Just pray it doesn't have a nitrous explosion, that could wipe out a small town BTW, is it me, or did that cover of Dead or Alive sound like it was being sung by John Goodman
  15. Gotta wonder why there aren't more modern cars like this in one form or another, I think that alot of the Snoozebox Buicks would have made decent late model Kustoms if done correctly
  16. Now that this is over, I have to ask Mark, where you still with the company when this deal with Volga was penned?
  17. That's pretty clever there Silken! Even luckier here Nick, We didn't loose power at home or work That was one nasty storm though, not as bad as the one a few weeks ago, but still bad!
  18. I've tried with RC cars.........I'm half decent at flying into myself with them
  19. I've only had two I've nearly frustrated enough to send flying and that was a long time ago. Now if I'm working on somehting and drop a small part or an important screw or nut on the floor, then I say things that can't be posted here I have to agree that if something's going wrong, step away, especially if it's late at night just go to bed and start fresh the next day. WOrks well on styrene models and RC stuff
  20. Just found it and you ain't kidding Mark
  21. As of right now I have no idea what it is, but I certainly have an idea of what it looks a whole lot like
  22. So long as it doesn't do what the last in car compressor I had in my Jeep did, the flapper valve broke free and jammed the piston near TDC..........right before the old 70k mile airshocks popped
  23. It was a Posie's rod, I think the Extremeliner is what it was called. IIRC Testors offered it in diecast form too. Edit: found a pic of the real car! and here's the only pic I could find of the model, but I should have one around here somewhere that I can photograph later.
  24. Weird, Dad just emailed me the YouTube like of that video, look for the video of them printing a functional ball bearing All it's missing is the cage that keeps the bearing balls from rolling around loose between the inner and outer races
  25. Lol, is that another plastic car modeled in metal
